AG-UI makes building agentic applications dramatically easier. Here's how it works. This is a model for a simple chatbot: User → LLM → Response But interactive agents that render UI, pause for approvals, and ask users for input need a much more complex model. When building these agents, a response from the LLM will include a series of state changes as the agent runs: • Agent started a task • Agent called a tool • Agent updated its state • Agent streams these tokens • Agent is waiting on a human • Agent is resuming the task The Agent-User Interaction Protocol (AG-UI) treats the LLM response as a stream of events rather than a text endpoint. In practice, here is what you get as an agent runs: 1. Lifecycle events so your UI knows where the agent is. 2. Text messages that stream tokens. 3. Tool calls so your UI can prefill a form with any required arguments. 4. State updates that keep your UI in sync with the agent. 5. Special events for human approvals, rich media, and custom needs. All of these events travel over standard transports (SSE, WebSockets, or plain HTTP) as JSON. As a result, you can build a frontend that stays in sync with the agent's progress without having to invent a custom process to make this happen. For example, building a human-in-the-loop workflow becomes an off-the-shelf component you can integrate rather than build from scratch. Introducing proof of concept React Imgui! The name is a joke, but it is accurate enough. In the last few days I have been working on a prototype of React driving Dear ImGui using Static Hermes. The result is a fully native app written almost entirely in JavaScript, using unmodified React, typed JS, plus a very small amount of glue C++ code and unmodified Dear ImGui and Sokol. The actual renderer translating React into Dear ImGui is written entirely in typed JS using zero-cost FFI. Of course this wouldn't be possible without React's great design and flexibility. I find it really fascinating that I was able to take literally unmodified React, write a little extra JS, and get a functional fully native app so quickly. Of course everything is unoptimized, and prototype code quality, and who knows how buggy, but it seems to work well enough. Please, watch the video to see it in action. If there is interest, I will write a more detailed article.

With Atlas, you can literally make films. And it also basically solves first-frame-last-frame transitions. Reconstruct a 3D scene from images, then position the camera exactly where you want it, and let Atlas fill in what the camera would see along that path. You’re in the director's chair, staging the scene. Here we made a 1 min video with a couple images of totally different scenes, and we set where the camera keyframes should move through each part of the scene. The scene-to-scene transitions are great. Atlas makes it feel like a smooth shot with no cuts.

Let me share a long-awaited behind-the-scenes video of how Simulon works. It all starts with setting up a scene. You set the location, lighting conditions and capture the light map with a few turns. After that, you can capture the environment mesh using the Lidar scanner. That's the moment the fun begins. You can bring in your #3D models with animations and capture a video of up to 50" using the #AR preview on screen. After that is done, you send the footage to the cloud and in a couple of minutes you get back an incredible #CGI shot. And this is just the beginning. I can't stop thinking about this... Michael Caine on his defining philosophy on life: Use the Difficulty As a young actor, he was rehearsing a play scene when a chair got stuck in the door and blocked his path. He told the other actor he couldn't get by the chair to enter the room in the scene. The actor's response: "Use the difficulty...if it's a comedy, fall over it, if it's a drama, pick it up and smash it." This idea—of using the difficulty—became a defining mantra for Michael Caine's life. "There's never anything so bad that you cannot use that difficulty...if you can use it a quarter of one percent to your advantage, you're ahead, you didn't let it get you down." This idea hit me hard... How can you use the difficulty you're currently facing? How can you embrace the struggle? How can you find flow through the friction? How can you sow the seeds of your light during the periods of darkness? As with everything in life, control the controllable: The difficulty is already there, you can't control it. You can control how you react to it. You can control your response to it. You can control your attitude towards it. Lesson: Difficulty is inevitable. Use it.

RedNova: From Arbitrary File Write to Command Execution Using COM in Windows Months ago, I wrote a post ( about the unique method used in the RedSun exploit to turn a file write into command execution by using a COM object that can be triggered by a low-privileged user and runs as SYSTEM. In that post, I mentioned that there are other COM objects that can be used in the same way. I presented one object called CoFilterPipeline and noted that it needs some tricks before it can be weaponized. Now I've written a full blog post on how you can find such objects and how you can weaponize them in exploits like RedSun. The video below shows another COM object with the same behavior (windows 11). It's called PerceptionSimulationCoClass. A low-privileged user can activate it, and it runs as SYSTEM. The video doesn't contain any exploit (it just replaces the COM server as administrator).
