A true masterpiece of an album.

Milton é especial. Tenho este álbum repetido.

THE masterpiece! Most amazing record of the most amazing musical culture

They brought talents together and Milton Nascimento & Lô Borges released Clube da Esquina, a masterpiece of Brazilian MPB. 🎶 The iconic cover with the two boys was taken in Minas Gerais, but the original photograph was actually made with a Polaroid camera and the photographer, Carlos Vergara, didn't know who the kids were until decades later. 🤔 Fun Fact: It's considered one of the five Brazilian albums you must hear before you die. Did you know? 🤯

Yooo thank you! This melody has been in my head for months, I’ve heard it several times over the years but never knew who/what. I thought it was like Arthur Verocai or something so I’d go down rabbit holes of Latin/Brazilian jazz but never found it, I’m scrolling and BOOM! 😂

Elis Regina once said: "If God could sing, he would have Milton Nascimento's voice."

Clube da Esquina is a seminal album, essential

Best Brazilian album ever made in history of music

Apaixonado por essa faixa, é igual a Elis Regina falou: "Se Deus tivesse uma voz, seria a do Milton Nascimento". A voz do cara parece que acerta direto a sua alma.

What album? I can't read it and don't know the tune?

Incredible that you are listening to this! My wife loves this album! 🇧🇷mentioned🫡

What a cover!

I have the privilege to have the original press of this album in great condition and what baffles me is that the album sounds so…warm, alive…like a hug from an old friend

I’m not familiar..Will check it out. Thanks

Um dos melhores de todos os tempos, tá no meu Top5

The live version was best then this track. Milton and Som Imaginário played a six minutes version at the Clube de Esquina Show. The best show I see at my life was Milagre dos Peixes at João Caetano Theater in 1973. Was recorded too.

Thanks for posting this, appreciate it.

Grande Bituca, o nosso Milton Nascimento... ❤️❤️❤️

I was archivist in the studio that keep the photos of this project. The name of photographer is Cafi, and he made covers to other great Brazilian artists

Got it too. Awesome record

#1 from "500 best brazilian albums of all time" from @db_cast. Enjoy the 499 others.
