A undocumented feature in Meta Quest v64 found by @Squashi9 After completing a Space Setup scan (or pressing the optional "Add Furniture") it will now try to automatically detect + label planes/objects it sees within the mesh. A big deal, I'm surprised they didn't mention it!

@Squashi9 hopefully this will eventually be done periodically in the background like avp, so no setup required

@Squashi9 I imagine the main issue would be power/resource consumption due to Quest 3's sensor architecture, though maybe at some point it could do "soft" scans on interval.

@Squashi9 whaaaaat. I should try it... I have just written a post to complain about manual labelling!

@Squashi9 I've retried a couple of times to replicate this functionality but have had zero success-no objects are detected automatically. I've got a wall mounted TV like in your video, and a variety of furniture. Not sure why I'm not having any joy! (v64.0.0.484.370.585752815)

@Squashi9 Probably not enabled for all headsets like most things Meta rolls out.

@Squashi9 I mean, it works lol. Even in this current state it seems to be fairly reliable.
