How this company hasn’t gone out of business is insane to me. Overpriced, shit qc, shit customer support. They literally can’t do anything right and people keep giving them money anyway

Lmao it's so insane braindead NPCs still buy their garbage. NO OTHER COMPANY HAS QC THIS BAD except for maybe Gwolves but nowadays probably not. Their recent stuff has been solid. Not to mention final meme is one of the most expensive brands too.Absolutely crazy they still exist.

ive only seen 2 reported QC issues out of 4,000 units reportedly shipped so far, and even this one looks pretty minor. possibly something that resolves itself. Seems like they may have nailed QC this drop 👌

As long as the mouse will be fixed and proper support will be given i see no drama in here - of course it could have been checked earlier during inspection…

Arena's Anastasios Nikolas Angelopoulos says one of the hardest problems in alignment is that users often can't tell when the model is helping them or hurting them. "You really need alignment signals that are independent. We have three at Arena." "The first is that models take unauthorized actions, which means that you permission them in a certain way, but they break those permissions." "It can cause things like the Hugging Face incident. But it can also cause very mundane problems like losing important information within your company or on your own laptop." "The second signal is called deceptive completion." "The model will tell you that it did something, but it didn't actually do it." "Third is false attribution. It'll attribute intent to the user when that intent was not supposed to be there." "If models are able to do this, then certainly they're not perfectly safe for a user and they're not perfectly aligned to user intent. They might actually hurt people down the line."

"I do not think a chatbot is the right interface for travel or e-commerce." - Brian Chesky "I think the future is not apps. The future is agents, but I don't think they're going to be text-forward. I think they're going to be really rich user interfaces." "Imagine using iMessage to do everything, when in fact every other app has a unique interface." "With e-commerce, you want a very rich user interface. It would be agentic. You can have a conversation with it, but the point is that it has to be more visual."

SATYA NADELLA SAYS AI SUBSIDIES CAN ONLY GO SO FAR Asked by Deirdre Bosa whether an always-on AI agent will be too expensive to sustain, Nadella says it still consumes tokens. Someone has to pay for that usage. “There’s a certain amount of subsidy anyone can do.” He says the business models come down to subscriptions, pay-as-you-go, advertising or transactions. But covering the cost is only part of it. The user needs to get value back. “At the end of the day, this all has to be about the return that the user gets,” whether that’s a consumer or a business.

The business model in the AI era is completely different from that of Web era. Traditional internet companies thrive on user quantity, making it a competition for MAU’s. This was because the marginal cost per user was near zero, and can actually be offset by the network effect benefits. In the AI era however, marginal cost per user scales linearly, and there are little to no network effects. If all 3 billion Facebook users become Muse users, this would cost Meta about $2.5 trillion a year. Meta is therefore pressured to monetise on every user. This means that every user must become a “high stakes user”, ie use Muse for real purchases.
