I used to exhaust myself trying to save everyone around me. I saw their suffering and thought I could pull them out of it. But all it did was leave me drained and frustrated. You can’t help someone who isn’t ready to help themselves. You can guide, you can model, you can love but you can’t force someone into their healing. Suffering is part of the human path. We’re here to walk each other home, not to drag anyone somewhere they’re not ready to go. #healing #heal #mindfulmovemend
