Speaking as somebody who was born with spina bifida and scoliosis why would anybody able bodied want to identify as being disabled. I find it insulting. I would of loved to have been born able bodied and have had to fight so hard to be treated the same as an able bodied person

If people can simply identify as disabled to receive benefits, it could become an attractive option for many. This could undermine the support system meant for those genuinely in need and create a strain on resources intended to assist the truly disabled. It's a controversial issue that raises questions about the integrity and sustainability of disability benefits.
