Anyone that took the time to learn about the God of the Bible can easily rebuke you as God is self-existent and eternal. That is why logically it makes sense He is the source of all creation.

That question assumes God is a created being. But by definition, God is uncreated. Everything that begins to exist has a cause. The universe began to exist. Therefore, it needs a cause. God didn’t “begin.” If He created time, space, and matter, He isn’t bound by them. No beginning. No creator needed. Atheism says the universe just is. Christianity says God just is. Both sides land on something eternal. The only question is: Is ultimate reality matter… or Mind? Truth doesn’t panic.

Not me, this is what I think when an atheist asks this question.

Atheism is shallow and dumb

Proving atheists don't hear a word non-atheists say. That question has been answered dozens or hundred of times for that one atheists and each time he asks it again his 'I'm the ace of the base' chime activates in his mind.

Atheists: what created god? Christian: nothing Atheist: HA! Your beliefs are so silly! Christian: what created the big bang?

Imagine being God and being created. They should think what being a God means first.

i still question it to this day BUT i don't think i have that 'right' to know this yet. I grew up in a family of Catholics; but i'm more Spiritual now. I've been thru alot of Pain in my life, & at times, Hated everything & everyone to the point that i just want to quit & be depressed. I am fortunate though to have a Great Mom & siblings who talked to me to Snap out of it. And that's where GOD, Jesus comes in... if i'm depressed & continue to do nothing about it - that must be the Devil luring me into my demise. I Pray to GOD & it disappears. I have seen the beauty of GOD everywhere, from my Beautiful new born nieces & nephews, to plants growing (my hibiscus, my bamboo tree) that i thought were dead, to receiving something impossible from GOD that was impossible to get-But i got it. So the point i'm trying to make, if you're reading this is, I'm scared & at the same time Amazed, to Believe GOD created all this Beauty on earth & the Universe ❤️✝️🌍🙏& at the same time - i Never want to think i came from Nowhere, that is Scarier to me, than not knowing where GOD came from. GOD has given me so many chances to improve my life ~ that i have to be a Selfish person Not to Appreciate HIM. This is just my opinion... i'm Not here to Argue about the existence of GOD, i just know HE & my Saints & Angels are around bc despite of all the struggles we had in this country🇺🇸✝️, my Family & i still continued to Support & Love ❤️each other. And when i get to the other side, i would Love to see my Dad again.. RIP Dad ✝️❤️🙏

God is. You misunderstand what authoring time and space means

Why is this a problem? If someone gets triggered because an atheist questions them "what created God," that person wasn't much of a theist in the first place. If you think this is "absolutely devastating" I have a bridge to sell you.

Islam is clear. Abu Hurairah reported to the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ)as sayings: People will continue to ask one another(questions)till this is pronounced: Allah created all things,but who created Allah? Whoever comes across anything of that, he should say: I believe in Allah.

It took me some time to grasp this one. On the surface it makes sense to say that if our attributes suggest we are designed that God's would suggest the same. But that doesn't factor in the uniqueness of God as the Necessary Being. It's like asking an where brute facts come from.

It's a definite slam dunk win for atheists. Absolutely undermines everything.

Why devastating? When Moses asked the burning bush who are you? God answered “I am who I am.” How could humans ever understand? We can understand a little bit, but that’s all. When CS Lewis wrote the essay what to make of Jesus Christ? He nailed this point.

And some theists too. I saw @shadiversity promoting a video he made about the origins of God according to LDS. I appreciate his rigor and balancing of faith, interests, work, art, but I feel that philosophy demands a "god" that doesn't have an origin story. He is the origin story
