Two days after Industries Minister Uday Samant directed local authorities to crack down on illegal roadside parking in the Chakan MIDC area, heavy vehicles, including containers, continue to be parked along roads across the industrial belt. Local industrialists said the illegally parked vehicles occupy a significant portion of the carriageway, worsening traffic congestion and affecting the movement of goods and workers. Samant, during his recent visit to Chakan MIDC, had directed authorities to take action against vehicles parked illegally on roads and said legal cases should be registered if the vehicles are not removed. #Chakan #ChakanMIDC #Pune #HeavyVehicles #IllegalParking #TrafficCongestion #UdaySamant #IndustrialArea #RoadSafety #Maharashtra #PuneNews #PunekarNews

Starting a new project today, building an end to end system to forecast traffic of flights across cities (starting with Mumbai) The idea is to implement > ingestion service with kafka > data etl with polars > feast for feature store // mlflow for model registry > batch inferencing // dashboard > s3 // postgres for data storage All this orchestrated across multiple DAGs built with Airflow. This year has just been Agents and LLMs all along. Not a bad idea to keep revisiting the traditional format :) Will be posting more of this in the coming days, stay tuned

Maharashtra Fast-Tracks Industrial Growth with Bold Reforms🚀 Chaired the Ease of Doing Business War Room Meeting in Mumbai today, reaffirming Maharashtra’s commitment to remain the top destination for foreign direct investment and to swiftly convert these investments into thriving industries. Directed the administration to reduce the number of permissions required, ensuring that new entrepreneurs save valuable time and resources. To strengthen investor confidence, the Urban Development Department has been tasked with developing an AI-driven online system for building construction permissions. Under this model, once applications are submitted as per norms, documents will be verified automatically, and permissions granted seamlessly, eliminating delays and ensuring speed. Further reforms include the creation of a single-window mechanism for industrial approvals, exemption of multiple permissions for industries under the green pollution category for a specified period, and decentralising many permissions to the district level for faster processing. These measures will significantly cut red tape and simplify compliance. By eliminating obstacles and creating a truly industry-friendly ecosystem, Maharashtra is building an environment where entrepreneurs can focus on innovation and growth rather than navigating bureaucracy. With seriousness in implementation and proactive reforms, the State will continue to attract large-scale investment, accelerate industrial growth, and progress steadily towards the vision of becoming India’s first $1 trillion sub-national economy. #EaseOfDoingBusiness #InvestInMaharashtra #IndustrialGrowth

In a deeply embarrassing development, potholes have appeared on the newly inaugurated Mumbai-Pune Missing Link project within just two months of its launch, raising serious questions about the quality and durability of the ambitious infrastructure project. A viral video shared on Instagram showed two large potholes near the expansion joint of the cable-stayed bridge on the 13.3-kilometre stretch, triggering widespread outrage among citizens and commuters. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) confirmed the incident, attributing the damage to heavy rainfall, and claimed that repair work was completed on priority after the contractor and officials were immediately directed to fix the potholes. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Maharashtra Day in the presence of Deputy CMs Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar, the Missing Link was designed to bypass Bhor Ghat and reduce Mumbai-Pune travel time by 25 to 30 minutes. However, the early appearance of potholes has left citizens questioning whether crores of rupees of public money have been well spent. Alhamdolillah, a major tragedy was averted today at Indigo Tower, Gulberg. Upon receiving reports of a fire in the basement, the Emergency Response Team was immediately mobilised. Minister Energy Faisal Khokhar, Commissioner, DC and all concerned officials are present on site to oversee the operation. The explosion of the air-conditioning system boiler was severe; however, due to the swift, professional and heroic response of Rescue 1122 and the Fire Brigade, the fire was brought under control with zero casualties. It is reassuring to note that the newly installed fire hydrants were fully functional and freshly implemented SOPs were in place which played a critical role in containing the incident. Strict directives have been issued: All commercial boiler and cylinder installations across Punjab must fully comply with safety standards. Any premises found compromising public safety will be sealed immediately, without exception.

During a meeting with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, we had a detailed discussion on opportunities to further develop cooperation in defense production, including within the Drone Deal format. Ukraine’s experience in building a system to protect lives should be scaled across all of Europe, and we are ready for such a partnership. We also count on the earliest possible opening of negotiating clusters for accession to the European Union. We discussed this with Gitanas. In the first half of 2027, Lithuania will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and we expect support on all issues related to our full membership. I thank Gitanas Nausėda for the meeting. I am grateful for the consistent assistance, support for the PURL initiative, and readiness to cooperate within the SAFE instrument. Today’s decision to unblock the €90 billion loan is also important.

What is happening now in the northern West-Bank is the Gazafication of all Palestinian land. The Israeli army is attacking with massive troops, including airplanes, and is about to invade a central hospital in Jenin. Early this morning Israel’s Foreign Minister tweeted about the need to displace Palestinians from areas in the West Bank. Now reports are ariving of such evacuation orders given to Palestinians communities in refugee camps in the region, while full-scale destruction and the cutting of water supply is already underway. The Israeli media, meanwhile, is barely reporting on the offensive. This is not “counter-terrorism” but the perfect storm for the execution of Smotrich and the settler’s plan to ethnically cleanse the West Bank. The international community must intervene now!

During a meeting with the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, Johann Wadephul Johann Wadephul, we had a detailed discussion on Ukraine’s path toward EU membership. The current blockages are purely political, and I am grateful to Germany for its support. The opening of clusters will certainly add momentum to progress across all areas of European integration and reforms. This should be the driving force for further joint work and coordination. A united Europe clearly has enough strength for this. I also shared the results of my visit to the Middle East and the system for protecting lives that Ukraine has offered to the countries of the region. We are ready to develop this kind of cooperation together with our partners in Europe who have stood with us from the very beginning.

Emotional scenes unfolded at #NEET (UG) Re-examination centres in #Telangana as parents were seen pleading with security personnel and police officers after #NEETaspirants were denied entry for arriving just 1-2 minutes late. In one incident, a father pleaded with officials, fell at the feet of police, after his daughter was reportedly denied entry for reaching the centre just 2 minutes late in Keesara, Medchal district. The father said the delay occurred after Google Maps directed them along the wrong route. In another incident, a mother fell at the feet of security guards, begging them to allow her daughter to take the exam in Jagtial district. Two female NEET aspirants were also denied entry at the JNTU, in KPHB exam center in Hyderabad due to arriving just a few minutes late. Despite pleading with the officials to be let in. However officials were didn't allowed to enter. If the Central government had exercised this level of strictness regarding the paper leak, the aspirants wouldn't have had to give the exam again.

Part of the reason they wanted to develop reusable rockets that can land is the Geophysical Event. Part of the elite wants to build a data center and a small hub on the Moon to preserve AI and, with it, all human knowledge. They can control the conditions on the Moon more easily than on Earth, which will be far more active and unpredictable during a geomagnetic excursion and increased cosmic radiation. They would have no rivals on the Moon, nor would the lucky survivors on Earth pose a threat to them there. That's why the Moon is important. It was used in the past as well, which is why there are monolithic structures on the Moon.

So I’ve lived in Hillsboro, Oregon for 10 years. Drove around today and tonight and shot this myself. This is what the “Data Center Plains” looks like.👇 My town sits at the end of 6 transpacific sea cables connecting the US to Asia. That’s why 30+ data centers landed here. They’re everywhere. Spread across the entire north and west end of the city. Road after road. Building after building. Miles of it. And they keep building. Pushing further west every year into farmland that’s been here for generations. Buying up land, Giving mass amounts of money to home owners to move, Tearing down homes. Tearing down historic sites. $7.2 billion in exempted property taxes. Some of these finished buildings are literally sitting completely dark… PGE told them no power for 3-5 years. They still built them anyway. A power plant is now going up right next to the data centers because they maxed the local grid. There are families still living next to construction zones. Old farmhouses directly across the street from data center walls. Nobody asked the people who already lived here. These are the families who refused to leave, so they said we are just gonna put them up next to your houses anyway. A pioneer homestead from 1865, 190 years of continuous farming is about to be gone, NTT Global Data Centers got that land tax-free until 2051. Signed in a single day at City Hall. Intel, the employer that actually brought thousands of real jobs here is laying off locals at the same time. This sound runs 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. My electricity bill went from $80 to $150. Water rates are set to increase 105% over 5 years, critics say to fund data center infrastructure, not residents. Data centers aren’t a joke. Just wanted to share my first hand experience with them. #datacenters
