We haven’t seen Roy, in honor of Friede, truly become his spiritual successor and fully grow into the Friede role that they’re hinting at. The dynamics of taking down the explores in honor of Friede is now gone too. Also make it a shocking/mysterious return not just a recording/he’s alive and he’s been around for a whole year while we’ve been suffering, so let’s throw a party lol. He could have made a shocking big entrance saving the group out of no where much later on. Or there could have been one in the group that believed he was still alive and they were following clues to eventually find him and it shocks the rest of the group when they do. I’m sure that they will go on an adventure searching for him now and a lot of what I said above will happen anyway, but in a different way- I knew He would be back eventually and I know this was for the 100th episode, and most of all I know it’s a kids show…but IMO there was just a more impactful, epic, and better way to do it than this. Except for Orla… that was moving.
