I never understood the black obsession with representation in anime. It's a Japanese genre 🤷‍♂️. Why can't black people create their own anime studio and make their own anime? I remember Sony Pictures, a Japanese-owned movie studio, fought to cast Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys, while other studios wanted Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz instead. I think Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were right for the parts, and Sony did the right thing. Most blacks these days want representation for the sake of representation... in JAPANESE anime.

According to Will Smith in a recent interview, his long-time friendship with Martin Lawrence has completely fallen apart over the Bad Boys franchise. Will claimed that during the making of Bad Boys: Ride or Die, he found out Martin had been secretly shopping a solo Bad Boys spin-off to Netflix and Amazon behind his back — a project that would have made Marcus Burnett the main character and written Mike Lowrey out almost completely. Will said the betrayal hit him hard. He accused Martin of “stabbing him in the back after everything we’ve built together” and revealed that the secret talks were happening while they were still out promoting the movie like nothing was wrong. Now Will has allegedly filed a lawsuit against Martin, claiming breach of an informal partnership agreement. I’ve said many times before that I never wanted to join THE REAL WORLD because I thought it was a scam. My woman gave me the $49.99 so I can try it and hopefully give us a better life. It goes without saying that it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m eternally thankful to the Tate brothers AND THEIR TEAM for not only teaching me how to make money but the mentality and discipline that it comes from being successful.
