ADS Animation Improvements in CODM Call of Duty: Mobile has introduced noticeable improvements to ADS animations especially for weapons with scopes. Scoped weapons now feature completely revamped animations. The movement is more dynamic, smooth, and realistic no more stiff, static transitions. Iron sights also received minor tweaks, feeling a... bit more fluid than before, but not fully overhauled. In the videos below, we compare old vs. new ADS using the Holger and the MG82 currently the only weapon using the new scoped ADS system. You’ll notice things like reloading while crawling and more complex motion are now possible. Keep in mind: - This system is still being refined and hasn’t been rolled out to all weapons yet. We expect broader implementation possibly with the next store update, which could also include 6th Anniversary content (post–Season 8). - Currently, MG82 is the only weapon with the updated ADS movement, featuring much more fluid transitions including movements that weren’t possible before, like reloading while crawling.show more

🏃 Movement + Animation Update: Following feedback on the Official Trailer from December, we've been further tuning and polishing Stuffy's movement to make it more responsive and fluid. We hope this video is a promising glimpse of our much-requested progress in this area! What's New? - Stuffy is now ~10% smaller, granting more playable space and control (to accurately fit inside of a 'layered' segment, land tight jumps, etc.) - Stuffy's run speed was increased, and with better acceleration. - Stuffy now reacts to 'extreme' rising and falling velocities, so they'll flail around dramatically when popping out of a Blink Bubble, bouncing on a Trampoline, or falling from big jumps. - We've updated and added all-new animations and the method of blending them. This includes animations for idle jump and land, running jump and land, quick turn while running, and more. - We've increased Stuffy's max jump height, strength, and overall weight. - We've also increased the global gravity for less floaty physics. - A more visible drop shadow was added to help judge landing. Why these changes? From our own testing and public feedback, we realized the physics were not properly tuned after a big refactoring made in 2023... resulting in a floaty look. Sadly, the fixes weren't investigated in time for the trailer! Our goal was always to improve the animation blending and movement style. Thanks to your feedback, we were able to pinpoint the biggest problems and begin fixing them. 💖 Our work isn't done! You'll notice some bugs in the video. 🐞 We plan to continue polishing the movement with time, including new animations that help Stuffy react to the environment even better. However, this is a step in the right direction and it feels much nicer to use (and look at)! You'll also spot some of the Wardrobe in action!

currently experimenting with WAN 2.6 I2V on GMI Cloud in this test, I’m comparing two audio workflows and honestly both perform really well. one scene uses audio generated directly from the prompt, while the other uses manually uploaded audio taken from the film 300. visually, both deliver strong motion and solid performance. however, the version with audio coming straight from the prompt feels slightly more refined, camera movement is smoother, transitions flow more naturally and the sync between voice, facial motion, and pacing feels more cohesive. lip sync, especially for Chinese dialogue also comes across a bit cleaner. you can choose single shot for a clean, focused moment or multi shot if you want more cinematic transitions, even when working from just one reference image. one important note: always turn on prompt extension. it makes a noticeable difference in how well the model understands motion, transitions and overall scene flow. both audio approaches are totally usable, but if you’re building dialogue driven or cinematic scenes, starting with audio from the prompt gives WAN 2.6 a bit more context to work with. I’ll be pushing this further with more dynamic camera movement and transitions next. more experiments coming soon ✨ Wan

#FC26 can look and play beautifully with the right touches! Of course we want this out of the box, but don't underestimate the power of modding in modern FC, it's not the same as modding other games - especially the gameplay! This is using V7 of my realistic gameplay mod (link is in my bio). Look how much better it's moving and playing! The animations are more fluid and the movement is significantly more grounded. And, at least indirectly, death. Here, we look at several key case scenarios wherein EM radiation in the microwave, millimeter-wave, and extremely low frequency (ELF) bands has been deployed as a weapon, including instances both acknowledged and unacknowledged by the mainstream press. Firstly, to establish a tangible sense of what directed millimeter radiation can do, here is a clip of the U.S. military's "Active Denial System" (ADS) in action. The ADS, also referred to as "the heat ray"(2), works by heating up people's skin with directed millimeter radiation(3). The Department of Defense (DOD) says "adverse reactions are extremely rare," but that the ADS can cause "skin blisters"(3). In the video shown here, we watch the ADS in action as marines and "other DOD representatives" observe the weapon being demonstrated on officials pretending to be in a "riotous crowd." The maximum distance for the weapon in the demonstration is seven football fields, or 2,520 feet. Note that when you see the men abruptly turn and run, that's because their skin is being superficially burned and they are experiencing a sensation similar to standing in front of an open oven door. As previously indicated, we will now draw our attention toward Soldier and Weapon Quality of Life Improvements arriving as part of #Battlefield2042 Season 6: Dark Creations. One thing we wanted to address with Update 6.0 was something our Community had highlighted to us via feedback. We had become aware of a crosshair and recoil inconsistency with high fire rate weaponry where the crosshair would take a moment to 'catch up' to bullet recoil trajectory under sustained fire. Update 6.0 makes improvements towards this through a series of changes to recoil, timings, etc. Which now improves the feeling and consistency of all weapons when compensating for recoil and bursting. Additionally, we have changed almost all weaponry, even the ones least affected by this, to tighten the "pull" sensation which makes the camera track recoil trajectory. This will result in the crosshair staying much closer to the center at all times while we maintain the feel of recoil movement expressed through the camera. Thank you for your continued feedback! Call of Duty players always acted like COD was a competitive game when it was just digital airsoft with guns that all feel the same, especially in "hardcore mode." Meanwhile, Halo was treated as a "casual" game, even though any decent Halo player would easily shit on COD players while the reverse wasn't true at all. In terms of mechanical skill, Halo just objectively has more going on, more moment-to-moment decisions to make, and a way higher skill ceiling than COD — much more thought is given to movement tech, positioning, choice of weapon, mind games, etc. Halo's higher average TTK requires the use of more advanced tactics to outplay your opponent. But more than that, Halo also gives much more power to the individual player by allowing to achieve faster kill times by being more accurate — because the weapons are generally harder to use than in COD, this means that kill times vary a lot with player skill. So the better player will simply kill faster, all else being equal. But in COD, all the guns are so stupidly easy to use that there's almost no variance in kill times, boiling the game down to the "I saw you first" cliche, especially in the so-called "hardcore" mode, which actually just rewards having faster reflexes over any other aspect of player skill. Halo and Counter-Strike have more in common than COD has with either of them.

NEW VIDEO At Aalo, we're using AI to build nuclear faster. And the more nuclear we deploy to power data centers, the better AI will get. A positive reinforcement loop is incoming. A few ways we're using AI: ➡️ Aalo Bot attends every meeting, listens, and soon will be able to talk. We'll ask it questions like "would this design change work given all the constraints you've heard from other teams?" or "what are the most pressing blockers for the company right now, stack ranked?", and more. ➡️ We're using AI to write software across the entire company. Not just replacing SaaS, but AI is also currently writing the code to automate physical robotic work done in our factory, including welding. This will unlock a scale of production and consistency of quality beyond what’s been possible in nuclear in the past. I had a great time with Black Flag Resynced, but my 9 biggest concerns right now are: 1. No more disarming enemies and stealing their weapons. 2. Hidden Blade combat has been completely removed. 3. Some animal fights now feel more like mini-boss battles, and a few look way too spongey. 4. Unarmed combat might only exist in a handful of scripted situations. 5. The brand-new cutscenes look noticeably stiffer than the 13-year-old originals. 6. Small details like the shallow-water animation are gone, while other animations feel less immersive. 7. Mission replay may have disappeared alongside the old DNA Sequence system. 8. Tailing missions seem simplified rather than properly redesigned. 9. Cheats appear to be gone entirely.
