Aether makes it so easy to create new, beautiful themes for Omarchy. Just pick a background, tweak the colors, and voila. Epic work by Bjarne Øverli 🤘

@iamdothash I’ve been hanging with Omarchy since the early days (I made the ristretto theme). I’m so impressed with your commitment to this project and the progress. You’re killing it. Can’t wait to drive a Quattro!

@iamdothash Im gonna give it (Omarchy) shot on this old Lenovo…

@iamdothash Making Arch look good was supposed to be hard work, stop making it easy.

Love how Aether makes theme creation this straightforward — huge props to @iamdothash. I put together **Noir**, a pure-black Omarchy theme with warm grey text and muted sage accents. Full coverage for Hyprland, terminals, Neovim, VS Code, and more. Check it out

@iamdothash I just might switch from Manjaro to Omarchy

@iamdothash This is awesome

@iamdothash Omarchy should have a live global user counter widget (optional of course) so you can look and see the community

@iamdothash Aether turning wallpapers into full Omarchy palettes is pure magic.

@iamdothash Isn't that background from Omakub?

@iamdothash It's returning as an option for Tokyo Night with Quattro! It's the OG switching-to-Linux background for me 😄

@iamdothash I am literally drooling, you/your team did such great work! Thank you for saving computing with the return of Linux desktop! Would you be mad if I ported some of this quattro work to my lil debian distro?

@iamdothash Open source is meant for sharing! Knock yourself out.

@iamdothash Good stuff, as usual 🔥

@iamdothash Agreed, Aether makes it so satisfying to use.

@iamdothash whether Aether tracks Omarchy's own theme schema or forked it decides how long this lasts. quattro ships fast enough that a community tool built against yesterday's internal structure breaks by next release without a stable contract.

@iamdothash Pikes peak Quattro goes very vey hard

@iamdothash The gui looks so refined

@iamdothash first wallpaper is nice

@iamdothash One of the reasons I already like Omarchy - not even having installed it yet. Is the possibility there to customize the swipe gestures in Omarchy like I got them configured on my MacOS main machine?

@iamdothash I've been fairly meticulous about maintaining my tuned look-and-feel between 3.x updates, but I am thinking about throwing it all out with 4.x and using the new tools to start from scratch. How compatible is the new theming engine with 3.x customizations?

@iamdothash Agree, I use it with random backgrounds I've used for years.

@iamdothash the hard part of a theme system is not the picker, it is contrast. let people choose any two colours and half the output is unreadable text on a near match background. clamping to a minimum contrast ratio is what keeps voila from meaning unusable.

@iamdothash Can Omarchy support M series Macbook? Can't wait to replace my old MacOS with Omarchy.

@iamdothash God 💡

@iamdothash what a legend
