Why Stellar? It was built to move real money. Stablecoins are first-class here, settlement is instant, and it costs almost nothing. And Stellar is already heading this way. It absolutely makes sense to build the missing piece on a network pointed in the same direction.

What we are building is an account for software. A buyer funds it once and sets a limit. Every call after that just draws from the balance. And because we batch the charges, the fee stops being a meaningful part of a sub-cent sale.

We didn't have to conjure the solution direction out of thin air. We have solved it before, and you have all seen it -- a ticket gate. It opens instantly because the card carries a balance. It never calls your bank. If it did, the queue would never move and the fees would cost more than the fare.
