Gutted for Eddie though you’ve been great in promoting him and ensuring future invites - he’s great for golf.

Great week for Eddie - not his day but overall very promising. All us chipping forecasters are disappointed for him now, but what an improvement this week.

Really gutted for Eddie but he’d have taken a top 10 at the beginning of the week, hope he can continue this form and I hope other tournament directors have spotted how much interest he garnered. 👊👊

Gutted for Eddie, don't think I've ever been as invested in a tournament as I have the Mauritius open. Winning a tournament is hard but to try and win it wire to wire is even harder . Eddie gave it his best in very tricky conditions and came up just short .

Thoughts of what might have been. Such a shame. His honesty and preparedness to put himself out there are so refreshing that you want the very best for him. Seeing Jen out there makes this feeling all the stronger. There’s more to come from Eddie P. That much seem certain. #tcf

Hope so. Today was hard to watch, so would have been much harder still for them. That's professional golf though - unsparing. And above all Eddie does manage to keep it in perspective in the wider world.
