Aim offset line turns red when the aiming has hit its gimbal limit. Ideally there would be a bounding box to display gimbal limits beforehand but that is a little tough to implement in VR :') #indiegamedev #mecha #vr #unrealengine

This looks awesome so far! If the bounding box is a pain, maybe implement a small sound effect when gimbal limit is reached? Something subtle that stands out, but isn’t annoying to hear constantly? Lol

Maybe just text that says Gimbal Limit or helicopters use a bounding box towards the bottom of their HUD that shows the aim direction+maximum gimbal in all directions. Might make it easier, but I’m not sure what kind of game this is to be. So implementation is different im sure.
