He’s literally shoveling food into his mouth, but he understood it’s nuanced, and that in this totally serious scene while his boyfriend’s about to break down, he’s just like, Oh God, look at the family drama; it’s amazing. He did say to Jacob, 'You never see anybody eat in a scene. I’m going to eat in the scene.' Meanwhile, I always put something in my mouth and then it’s time for me to speak. So I’m always like, Ugh.
