Not 10 years, but over 50! Since Pierre Trudeau tried to steal Alberta’s natural resources like oil and gas. That eastern superiority complex has not disappeared since Trudeau 1.0, and it won’t. The only answer is for the west to leave, and be free! But remember to include the interior of BC. We are done with this communist NDP gov’t that the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island vote for. Remember, the interior of BC, from Hope to Alberta, from the US border to the Yukon is solidly Conservative and we want out of this west coast anti-utopia. Thanks for listening!

That may well be a move in favour of globalism which aims to balkanise nation states into regions thereby dissolving the nation states in favour of a one world govt. Even if you believe yourself to be a member of the global community, what such a govt would do is to centralise and concentrate power into the hands of a tiny group of families (most likely outside your own country) that direct and control the globalist movement. The fact that the globalist movement has used corruption, deceit, violence and propaganda to advance its agenda does not support any notion that these oligarch families intend to act for the benefit and wellbeing of global citizens. Think world dominion by a group of corrupt individuals who want neofeudalism. Am I wrong? 🤷🏼‍♀️

The Supreme Court of Canada already settled this in 1998. If a province wins a clear majority on a clear referendum question, that democratic result carries constitutional weight and triggers a duty to negotiate secession. That’s legitimacy. That’s law. Not theory.

Keith Wilson joins Glenn Beck Americans with an interest in their northern neighbours are curiously looking on, wondering about the possibility of Alberta breaking away from the rest of Canada to create a new province. Glenn Beck raised the subject with Keith Wilson during the prominent Alberta independence activist and constitutional lawyer's appearance on Blaze Media's The Glenn Beck Program. “Is there enough support in Alberta to actually get that done,” Beck asked, in addition to whether Wilson actually thought “Canada would allow” the province, “the Texas of Canada,” to leave Confederation. Wilson pointed to the unique legal framework in Canada, which allows a province the ability to exit through a referendum. “If a clear majority of voters within a province vote on a clear question for independence, that triggers two routes to independence,” the constitutional law expert said. “One is the parties have to enter into good faith negotiations, meaning Alberta needs to go into a meeting room with the federal government and the other provinces and say, 'alright, we've got national parks here; we've got military bases in Alberta. We'll pay you, the federal government, a certain amount of money for those bases and national parks,'” Wilson explained. “The other path is if the parties don't enter into good faith negotiations,” he continued, noting that was “something we're very concerned about here in Alberta.” This route could see a “unilateral declaration of independence,” something that “relies on international recognition,” he cautioned. “If the United States and other countries are prepared to recognize Alberta independence, it creates a clear pathway,” Wilson told the American host.
