As we condemn the unfortunate goon culture in our politics, we politicians must also look inwards. Many of these goons are sponsored and weaponized by politicians. We must stop enabling political violence and intimidation. While we acknowledge the rotten apples within our security forces, IPOA must investigate and ensure those who betray their duty face justice. We must demand accountability from both sides: politicians who sponsor violence and security officers who abuse their authority.

I strongly condemn the brutal and unjustified lathi charge on our Hindu brothers who were peacefully protesting at the sacred Matha Muthyallamma Temple in Secunderabad. It is deeply disturbing that when our religious sentiments are attacked and idols desecrated, we are not even allowed to raise our voices in a peaceful manner. The real question is: who ordered this lathi charge? Those responsible for desecrating the temple should be facing action, not the devotees who seek justice. Why is it that Hindus are always taken for granted? This is a clear example of the Congress party's appeasement politics, where the concerns of the majority are consistently ignored. We demand accountability and justice for this attack on our faith, and we will not be silenced.

So Alireza, with hours left to live, tried to comfort the man who raised him. "What can I do, Baba. They want to take my whole life from me." Then he asked for one last message: "Say hello to my uncle. Tell him I'm looking after Ramin over there." Ramin was his cousin. The son of that same uncle. He was shot dead in the streets of Isfahan during the protests. Now the regime has hanged the other one. At dawn. In secret. This is what the Islamic Republic calls justice: 18 days of torture.
