Amazon Open Box Delivery: the unboxing experience nobody asked for. Looks like Amazon wanted in on the action too. 😭 Before I could even ask him to open it properly, the delivery guy started tearing apart the packaging with his bare fingers. This time, it’s my Lexar SL200 1TB... show more

So 1 day I ordered Uber Eats and the delivery guy took about 2 hours to come I ended up dozing off … I woke up to him pushing on my door trying to break in … I thought I was tripping so I grabbed my gun and went to the door … I unlocked the door he pushed it open

This pizza delivery driver wrecked his car,but literally walked the pizza to the home that ordered it! Now that’s what you call a good delivery driver! I feel so bad for this guy having to be out in that weather to make enough money to live! It’s not safe!

This is quite a big change in the past few years: delivery robots have become pretty much ubiquitous in Chinese hotels (and many residence buildings too). Half the time I take the lift in a hotel I share it with a robot. The way it works is pretty seamless. When I - as a hotel guest - order something online, the delivery guy puts it in the robot at the hotel's reception, the robot orders the lift, sets the floor, goes in front of my room and calls the phone in the room: "open the door for me, I'm here with your order!" It's a huge time saver for delivery folks - or hotel staff - and a good experience for guests. I think that's the way the whole delivery process will be automatized in China: bit by bit all residences in the country - at least those with lifts - will be equiped with those, and that's actually the most complex part of the process handled, the last few meters of the delivery process. Once that's done, it's just a matter of connecting the dots: autonomous delivery vehicles or drones - which are already a feature of many Chinese cities - will dock at the building's entrance and hand off to the indoor robot, completing a fully automated chain from merchant to doorstep.

On Friday my friends and I went to the park. We were on the swings, being silly and having nice, childish fun. We ordered bevs but the delivery guy parked so far. I went to fetch him but he wanted to leave me to walk, I said no ways give me a lift. My friends caught it on camera 😭

♻️Huge update on our path to reduce plastic packaging. We’ve officially replaced 95% of the plastic air pillows from delivery packaging in North America with paper filler. With this shift, we’ll avoid nearly 15 BILLION plastic air pillows every year. 🤯 That means for Prime Day next month, nearly all our deliveries won't come with plastic air pillows. The filler paper that replaces them is curbside recyclable.

Launch technicians are the last people on Earth to touch an Electron rocket before it goes to space. When they depart the pad in preparation for liftoff, you know it's almost time to go to orbit. Your work day could look like this too. Launch Technician roles open now:

🚨 Aurora, Colorado - CLOSE THE BORDER! Three Foreign Men Forced their Way into Family’s Home after Posing as Amazon Delivery Person • The foreigners (believed to be Venezuelan) were holding a package and waited for the family to open the door. When the family opened the door, the suspects forced their way inside and robbed them • One adult and two children were home at the time • The Police Department’s Response.. “Residents may want to consider alternate delivery options, such as picking up your mail from a P.O. box or choosing a "Hold for Pickup" option.” So you can’t even get packages delivered to your house anymore.. This was my first time in years being at the Disneyland parking before it was open yet, and be among all the cars lined up. I wasn’t aware that, apparently, it’s a thing for all the cars to “celebrate” in this way when 7am hits.

This UPS driver and Amazon driver both delivered packages to the same house at the same time. Before they leave the UPS driver suggests to him that he may want to move the packages to the side so that they won’t have to come out too far. The Amazon driver doesn’t seem too thrilled as he walks away. Some say they would have ignored the UPS driver and others say that’s the problem right there. People also pointed out that UPS makes more money than Amazon drivers, so that could be the difference. Should it matter how much you get paid? Shouldn’t you still do the best job you can? Or, do you think it’s not a big deal and the UPS guy should have minded his own business?

🚨 Venezuelan on a tourist visa slams her Amazon van into a Florida mom and her 4-month-old baby… then FLEES the scene. Amazon hired her anyway — even though it’s illegal for tourist visa holders to work in the U.S. This isn’t just one reckless driver. This is what happens when companies ignore the law, our borders are wide open, and American families pay the price. They should sue Amazon into oblivion. Secure the border. Enforce the laws. Protect American citizens first. 🇺🇸

Catwoman uses a grapple gun to zip up to buildings and she has a built in wingsuit. #LegoBatmanGame We already knew this, I just wanted to see it in action in a free roam setting. I’ve started to make my peace with it somewhat. I’ve already made my peace with the wing suit, but the grapple will take and getting used to only because I think she should be able to utilize her whip as the grapple and please do not give me that thing about “it’s not long enough” she was able to utilize it in the Arkham games (please see my attached screenshot reference of me literally playing Arkham city right now and the whip length) and it didn’t even properly wrap around things and the length was inconsistent when she used it to get to the top of buildings I’m not saying that she needs to be able to scale the buildings like she doesn’t ask them because I understand the movement will not work like that in this game giving the open world, but it will be very nice if her grapple to zip up to buildings was replaced with her whip. It’s a Lego game who cares about the inconsistent lengths of the whip? Regardless, I am super super excited and I cannot wait to get this game in my hands on the 19th

We've just wrapped our annual Delivering the Future event — showcasing our latest and greatest innovations in robotics, AI, and delivery technology. Here are the key updates: 🌟 We're using the latest in AI and robotics to get packages to you faster using tech pioneered for our next generation fulfillment center in Shreveport, LA — speeding up same-day deliveries by processing your orders 25% faster. 🌟 We're making deliveries for drivers easier with AI — using our Vision-Assisted Package Retrieval (VAPR). This in-van AI guidance system shows drivers exactly which packages need to be delivered at their current delivery spot — saving them ~30 mins per route and reducing their perceived physical and cognitive effort by 67% during their shifts. 🌟 We're enhancing our delivery services and shopping experience with AI — for example, you can now generate grocery lists directly from your meal plans. 🌟 We've removed all plastic air pillows from our delivery packaging, replacing them with paper filler made from recycled content. With this shift, we'll avoid nearly 15 BILLION plastic air pillows every year. 🌟 We've expanded our Amazon Pharmacy delivery services. We're more than doubling the number of Amazon Pharmacy locations at Same-Day delivery sites across the United States in 2025, which will mean more convenient access to medications, and upfront pricing.
