American has been saving bread to see if eventually it’ll go bad The date is November 2024. It’s been 7 months past its expiration date and it’s still white, fluffy, looks perfect, bounces back to its original shape, still “looks eatable” This is not food. It’s chemical poison.

Real bread would have turned into a hardened mold-covered smelly thing by then. So yeah, this is not bread. It looks like bread. Smells like bread. May even still taste like bread. But it’s a chemical-filled imitation of the real thing. Eat the REAL THING.

this bread lasting seven months past its date, insane bro. That's not food; it's a friggin science experiment! Chemicals keeping it "fresh" while we eat poison. Ew 🤢 Please don't purchase bread from a supermarket. Find a local Bake or make your own bread easily. I buy my bread fresh out of the oven from the Amish. Nothing artificial. I store it in the fridge... Otherwise the bread would mold within a week. No preservatives or chemicals

I find it hard to believe. My wife and I are empty nesters. Our bread routinely gets moldy before we finish a loaf. What bugs me is that I've usually made a sandwich the day previous or earlier in the day when my wife invariably finds the mold.

I noticed this phenomenon a couple of years back after returning from an extended trip. We got back and the bread that we'd forgot to freeze or throw out before we left was still "good". Been making our own at home ever since.

I don't always eat bread, but when I do, it's Ezekiel, from Trader Joe's. That stuff starts to mold before you leave the store parking lot.
