American vs German Math Methods 💯

This is not American vs German, this is quadratic vs order of operation. The former is useful for when you do not know the value of at least 1 of the numbers, the latter is used when you do know all the values and ONLY works when you do.

Literally no one would do it the American way. Not even Americans.

The so-called German and American methods are both fine. The German shows the efficient method. The American is showing what the math is actually doing.

One is Indirect 🇺🇸 The other is Direct 🇩🇪 That’s the difference!
