This Patriot has been in the construction industry for 30 years and says all he hears is “who is going to do all the construction jobs if we round up all the illegals?” Americans- that’s who. He says this issue didn’t exist until about 1987. He said most illegals came over for the summer and picked crops & then went home. But then a shift occurred and illegals figured out they could make more money doing construction. After being trained by AMERICANS, they would form a crew and underbid the jobs by $1-$2 a square foot from the American bidders. Cheap labor. That’s what this boils down to. Get rid of the illegals and force these construction companies to pay competitive wages to hard working Americans.
