This farm kid learns the heartbreaking reality that his favorite cow is becoming food. The father does a great job of explaining why and then he takes himself to his son’s level and acknowledges his emotions and validates them. This young man is going to be an amazing person. I think the dad did a good job. Little man tried so hard to be strong. I know a lot of children who get sad when they go to market too. But the dad explained it so well! They do have purpose, and it is to feed us... it’s part of life. 🥹 This is why I could never be a farmer. 💯 Have you ever experienced this emotion of raising a cow or pig and then having to take them to market? Anyone thinking about being a farmer, could you handle this?
