An upper caste girl explained why reservation is needed.

Caste reservations in India are needed to fix the historical wrongs against Dalits and other marginalized communities. It's about giving everyone a fair shot at education and jobs, leveling the playing field, and ensuring real social equality.

What if that worker is upper cast! I have a maid who belongs to Brahmin family! She is a widow trying really hard to get education for her kids. Don’t they deserve reservation? She says many people still keep her vessel separate, so she brings her own vessels to homes she works!

May her tribe increase to a level where Manuwaadis feel ashamed of themselves who keep on saying that British introduced caste system.Manuwaadis do not understand Brits ruled everywhere but introduced caste only India.Appreciate this girl from the depths of my heart ❤️.

Keep your hand over your heart and say that every Dalit is poor today. If they are still poor, then reservation is not working. If they are not poor, then do you think they need reservation? Simply accept that reservation should be based on financial condition, not caste.

I wish India becomes a country with no existence of Castes and Reservations

Of course reservation is a good idea. But it has failed its intention in implemention. In early days of India, to approximate based on Jaati was ok. But now like most govt schemes, it is leakages, underserved getting & deserved not getting, rendering it a mere political weapon
