NTE is a gacha game that looks identical to that GTA 6 copy called Ananta. If you remember, Ananta is an anime style GTA game with a mixture of Spider-Man web-swinging, Watch Dogs hacking and Arkham style combat system. NTE is a bit different compared to Ananta with its anime-style gameplay that emphasizes skills, special attacks and team synergies. When comparing NTE to Ananta, these two games look so visually identical that at first glance I thought these were made by the same studio😅

Recently, it was discovered that Ananta, the "non-gacha game," has gacha for outfit skins, but now it also has gacha for cars. At what point can something still be considered a non-gacha game when it actually has gachas? Well, I hope there will be more options, both F2P and paid, across the different systems. Obviously, the game has to sustain itself somehow, but calling it non-gacha? Luckily, all characters will be free, and that's actually really good. I’m loving how more & more games are abandoning live service for single player. DRAGONSWORD AWAKENING was originally a gacha game, now it’s coming in July 2026 as a premium single player action RPG And all the characters who were in “packs” will just be gained through gameplay now. I hope we keep seeing more of this. Lots of cool games that would be sick to play if they leave behind live service. Nice!
