I modelled the head, face, and battle mask for Optimus Prime for #Transformers ROTB. I also designed his new "centurion" open battle mask look along with it's animation. The director wanted the face to resemble the face from the 2007 Transformers film as ROTB was a soft-prequel to it but also wanted it to be tweaked to fit the new design and for us to give it some new unique features. This is where we came up with the new mask design which doesn't get entirely hidden when open. Instead, it gets stored on the side of his cheeks, like a Roman centurions helmet. The head design is derived from his model from the 2018 Bumblebee film to keep some consistency with that film too as ROTB was also a soft-sequel to Bumblebee. There are new pieces, adjusted proportions, and reworks to detailing in ROTBs version. The face proportions are modified from the 2007 face to be a lot wider and beefier, matching his new head shape and look. I redesigned and built the eyes from scratch using our kitbash pieces like I did for all the Maximals and Mirage. The studio decided against going for the holographic eyes look from the 2018 Bumblebee film but rather wanted a more simple look in between the 2007 and the 2018 eyes. I added a lot of small mechanical details to his battle mask animation which we unfortunately never get to see in the film. For example, I designed a fully functional mechanism which pushes his chin piece back when his mask closes. This was very cool when it was visible, our Animation Director and VFX Supervisors were super excited about it, but unfortunately no shot showed it off in the final film. It was a lot of fun to help model and design Optimus Prime for this film. I'm happy I got to contribute to such an iconic character. Chalu-Chalu-Chalu says the fake prophet as he hoodwinks unsuspecting and desperate congregants🤣🤣🤣 This fake prophet, called Passion Java, who is President Mnangagwa’s associate, failed to fill the 80k-seater National Sports Stadium in Harare. Even with the help of the ruling ZANUPF party, which sent messages to its structures to get their supporters to attend the fake prophet’s so-called Night of Wonders with the provision of many free buses, the stadium was empty. The citizens have caught up on his lies and fake prophecies; that is why the regime won’t allow any other terrestrial television station in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe only had one TV station, the only African country of significance with one TV station. Last night was not about genuine prayer; it was meant to be a show of force for long-term political plans, but it spectacularly collapsed as the man who made a poor attempt to look like Michael Jackson was left to do his silly tricks to an empty stadium. The buses came back empty too because, unlike an election, the ruling party, which tried everything to help him, couldn’t rig the numbers that came! It is also a sign of divisions in the ruling party, there are factional battles and Java is part of a faction. The abuse of religion for political ends by the ruling party is at an all-time high. Sadly, when a nation’s people are poor and living in abject man-made poverty, they will believe anything in exchange for a meal. Hopefully, the refusal to turn up for the charade yesterday sends a powerful message to the ruling party and its charlatan preachers! This is happening in a country with 95% unemployment, the highest inflation in the world, no clean drinking running water, a collapsed hospital system, yet grown men seat down to plan this nonsense to brainwash citizens! Corrupt rule will try anything to stay in power, thankfully the citizens rejected this latest cheap antic!

I vibe coded and built a sprite animation pipeline 🛠️ (Day 22 of making the engine+game) ⬇️ Watch the video if you don't wanna read the wall of text - it directly shows what I do. Shoutout to Jidé ✨ for showing me a paper on black/white combination to get alpha, it's the cleanest method yet, and to Cursor for enabling this entire journey. If you prefer the wall of text here you go: The hardest part of using general image models for 2D sprites isn’t getting a nice-looking frame, it’s getting consistent motion across a whole sprite sheet. You can fake a sheet, but frames won’t align, timing drifts, and you end up with weird artifacts. Even if you manually cut frames + interpolate, the animation often looks “off” because each frame is basically a new interpretation, not the same character evolving over time. This is especially noticeable with public API models like gpt-image-1.5 and Nano Banana. Some custom LoRAs for open models exist, but this is intended for less techy folks. My workaround: use a video model first, then post-process into a sprite sheet. Render the animation over a solid background (white/black/magenta/green), then chroma-key it out (my engine tool supports this). If the motion stays inside the silhouette, this works surprisingly well. You can do this in almost any video editing software too! The catch: keying almost always leaves an “aura” (edge spill). My best results come from interpolating the keyed animation with a clean base sprite, so you keep crisp edges and only “borrow” motion/detail where needed. If the animation extends outside the silhouette (tree branches, hair wisps, foliage), I usually skip “true sprite animation” and do it with shaders instead. Keying can’t fully remove halos there, no matter how much feathering/tuning you do. Another annoying issue: pixel corruption. AI rarely generates a perfectly flat background (pure #000000 or #FF00FF). That tiny noise breaks clean extraction and creates crawling garbage pixels around the subject. For clean base sprites (and even PBR maps), a useful trick is generating the same asset on white + black backgrounds and deriving alpha from the difference. This is basically a matte workflow: white = opaque, black = transparent. It fixes aura… but you’d need it per-frame to fix animation, which is still hard. For simple pixel art (single-digit frames), you can sometimes generate a sprite sheet, then ask the model to recreate it on black/white while preserving alignment… but it’s still manual-heavy. Honestly, at this point, for some projects it’s easier to go 3D → 2D and render clean sprites/maps directly. But I still love pushing “pure 2D” and seeing how far we can take it. Thanks for reading! Follow/bookmark/repost if interested in this kind of content!

🚨 BOMBSHELL: Tyler Robinson’s Defense MUST Read This Before the Feds FAKE the Ballistics—The FBI is Resurrecting Banned CBLA Test to RIG the Tyler Robinson Trial! Look alive and pay attention, because the establishment is banking on the public being too distracted to catch this. When you are doing real investigative journalism, the devil is always in the details—and what we just found buried in the Tyler Robinson court filings is absolute proof of a federal railroading. THE ATF FAILED, SO THE FBI IS CHEATING: We already know the ATF—the literal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms—threw their hands up and admitted they cannot match the bullet fragment to Tyler Robinson’s alleged rifle. So what does the deep state do when the actual firearms experts say there's no match? They hand it over to the FBI to perform a "Comparative Bullet Lead Analysis" (CBLA). WHAT IS CBLA? (THE JUNK SCIENCE): The media won't tell you what this is, so we will. Compositional Bullet Lead Analysis is a discontinued, utterly discredited forensic technique. It was used from the 1980s until 2005, when the FBI was forced to permanently abandon it due to "flawed scientific, statistical, and interpretive validity." Let that sink in. They discontinued this 20 years ago because it was literally putting innocent people behind bars. THE JIMMY YATES PRECEDENT: This isn't theory; it's history. In 1991, Jimmy Yates was convicted of murdering his wife because the FBI used this exact "lead analysis" to match a bullet in his car to the crime scene. He spent years in prison until the FBI was forced to admit the science was garbage. The FBI officially conceded in 2005 that neither scientists nor bullet manufacturers could definitively attest to the accuracy of this test. It was junk science then, and it is junk science now. THE ULTIMATE SETUP: Wake up, Tyler Robinson defense team. While the state is drowning you in 600,000 document files, they are quietly dusting off a 20-year-old debunked parlor trick to manufacture a match. The ATF wouldn't be corrupt enough to fake the ballistics, so the FBI stepped in to do it for them. If the evidence doesn't fit, they will literally resurrect dead science to make it fit. This is what a state-sponsored frame-job looks like in real-time. Share this everywhere before they try to sneak this banned evidence into the courtroom. ⚖️ FOLLOW Candace Owens and watch her FULL episode about this below,👇

Two things I'm hoping they fix in #NBA2K27. 1) Invisible barriers You can see how I stun LaMelo with the jab, but when I try to blow by I hit a barrier and LaMelo ends up back in guarding position. Kind of defeats the purpose of the jab game. Probably could play through that ride animation and still have an advantage, but the barriers make things feel unnatural at times. 2) These canned defensive animations that grant way too much mercy to trailing defenders. Been talking about this for years. You'll have a guy beat on a drive, initiate a dunk or layup, and then 2K will just unnaturally force you into an animation that kills your forward momentum and makes you do some floater or layup to allow a stop from the trailing defender. You can't rationalize it...because it isn't a bad take (even though 2K will say it is after the fact) so why is an advantage I created being taken out of my control? Sometime they'll even just let the AI zoom to you and foul you so you don't get a layup. It just doesn't feel natural and that's my problem with it. There are even times on fast breaks where you get a steal, and you're trying to run out...but there's a dude who's literally behind you holding you in a ride animation preventing you from picking up speed. Just too much mercy for beat defenders in my opinion. Should you be forced into bad animations after beating a defender and attempting to score? I just don't know if that makes sense. It makes it look like you did something wrong, but it's really out of your control. #NBA2K26

vibe coding metahuman with threejs and codex: spitting FACS ok, i'll admit 3D modeling has a lot of depth, going from a cube to a full facial action coding system is.. a lot of work, but really it isn't all that hard to learn like some people want you to believe it took me about 10 evenings to go from scratch (no idea how to even model in blender beyond the famous donut) to a working rigged and shape keyed expression system the actual vibe coding parts are very manageable, i'm not even hitting any session limits the past week since codex is basically just reading the glb file and it writes the drivers to have a full animation system in a single turn after that i usually notice that some things don't look as professional as i like it to be, followed by codex sending my ass back to blender and telling me what i need to do to make it better so here we are, the expression system is still very very simplified, no micro expressions yet and i believe i will need probably 500+ shape keys to actual achieve realism, but why not? Doing the 52 ARKit expressions for this demo wasn't too hard either, just tedious and boring The final driver in the demo uses a mix of bone movements and blendshapes to smoothly animate the face I might mix up some terminology here but i usually do cause it's been like what, 10 days since i started? Guess next up i'll look into face deformation parameters and then we'll move to the fun part of skinning. Once the head/neck area works (hairs are also still missing), full body next and finally LOD systems and we can call it a day Demo (pls use a desktop i'm not optimizing the ui for mobile):

Official ActBlue training documents show ActBlue was training their employees to ignore fraud They even trained their employees to let donations come in with fake names and not flag suspicious fraudulent donations from campaigns Democrats actually setup their donation systems to intentionally allow fraud to happen We need prison sentences for prominent Democrats and their donors The next 4 items that I'm about to show you all come from ActBlue's internal policy and training materials, written by ActBlue's own management for ActBlue's own fraud review staff to guide how the company must handle suspicious donations day to day: “First, we've got a security briefing sent to ActBlue staff explaining why certain red flags were not a priority. And I quote, "We are not the primary target of people looking to commit merchant fraud. People who steal credit card information don't try to give that money away." Second, from the onboarding guide given to every new hire on the fraud prevention team, "We want to give our donors the benefit of the doubt and think about the reasons why a contribution is legitimate." trainees were never told to reject a donation over a single suspicious characteristic. One red flag just isn't enough. Give it the benefit of the doubt” Here’s where it gets really criminal “Third, from that same training material, and this one is honestly almost too gross to believe, I quote, "If an otherwise legitimate donor uses a fake name, we would want to accept their donations." Fourth, also from that training material, staff were instructed that when a campaign itself enters a large suspicious donation directly, they should look past it because flagging it might put the campaign in, quote, "an awkward position of having to call their own donor and ask what's going on’” People need to go to prison

LIV Golf has made some significant changes during the off season to appease the OWGR application, including the drastic decision to move to the 72 holes. However, although they were accepted, the OWGR only gave them considerably reduced points and added a fake cut below 10th place. If LIV Golf were to make more changes, it’s likely that the OWGR would increase their points allocation in the future. But it could lead to the league completely losing their identity. Speaking after a first round of 5 under par 67 at LIV Golf Riyadh, the new captain of Smash GC, Talor Gooch, said about the situation: “Yeah, I think we all agree we need to stay us, true to who we are and what we are. We’re a global golf league that brings a totally different energy to the game. So we’ve got to continue to maintain the fabric of our character and who we are and what made us — what we started with in the beginning. I hope we don’t go too far down the path of replicating everything just to appease somebody. “At the end of the day, for the ranking of things, everybody knows the quality of golf that’s out here. It’s unfortunate that it’s not recognized in the way that it should be. I just hope we don’t lose ourselves in the chase for that. Like I said, for four or five years, we’ve experienced this and this being treated a certain way. I look forward to the day that we are treated the same as everybody else in the game of golf, and I think we’ve made plenty enough strides to try to join the ecosystem and try to appease people. “I don’t know what else to say. It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out.” What are your thoughts on this? Talor Gooch LivGolfLeague Smash GC

This story is so crazy for multiple reasons. First and most importantly: It reflects poorly on Charlie who—according to Candace—apparently started having Ben at Am Fest, inviting Ben on his show to promote his books, and tweeting in Ben’s favor because…donors pressured him too? And then he…ditched Candace at TPUSA events like Am Fest because…donors told him too? I feel like in their rabid quest to somehow implicate Jewish donors for Charlie’s murder, Candace and her fans are making Charlie look really weak-willed, disloyal, fake, and money-hungry. Which doesn’t seem like he was. Also, there’s no evidence for any of this—no evidence of what Charlie allegedly told her, no evidence of what Andrew allegedly told her, no evidence Ben actually sent an intern to try to embarrass Candace onstage at YWLS. No one ever copped to it when she got upstage and called them out, and certainly Ben never copped to it. This could’ve just been another Candace lie or yet another time she was given bad info and ran with it. She enjoys drama, stirring the pot, and being the center of attention at all times. Lastly, she’s referred several times now to how “they” tried to take everything from her—her name, her reputation, her platform, her money, etc. Gosh you’d think no one has ever been fired before. You’d think no one had ever had beef with a former boss before. You’d think she was the first to go through this tragedy. Bottom line is DW made her famous. And when she was fired, they didn’t have the power to take that name and fame from her—even if they wanted to. She didn’t have to start over from scratch. She had a name, fame, her audience, money, and people (like me) who supported her. She acts like DW “de-personed” her—or tried. And I say ALL of this as someone who supported Candace at the time and publicly agreed with that tweet of hers; it has always bothered me how some people act like no innocents exist in Gaza. But this all just absurd at this point. Sounds like her more sour grapes that she was once again excluded.

FORGET MY PREVIOUS POST, LET ME BLOW YOUR MINDS! 🤯NEW METHOD! AI 2D SPRITES ARE SOLVED. PERIOD. Day 50 of building a webGL game engine using Cursor 🔽🔽🔽 I was wrong. The previous system had flaws. It wasn't the best. If you use it on VFX heavy sprites, it would start falling apart - either via grain/artifacts, or displacement. But I just couldn't give up. I knew I needed something more. This was the limit the models could give me. So I consulted science: Zheng et al., "Bilateral Reference for High-Resolution Dichotomous Image Segmentation" (CAAI AIR 2024, arXiv:2401.03407) - BiRefNet If any of the brilliant minds who wrote this paper read this post, I'm extremely thankful for your research. It made me solve a really big problem with 2D sprites, and I'm extremely grateful! Thank you! Please reach out if you see this! Now, how does this solution work: 1⃣ Generate your Kling animation (still king for anime 2D style). 2⃣ Run BiRefNet (HR-matting variant rocks) → get solid character alpha. 3⃣ Compute simple brightness/luminance alpha (luma → alpha curve, easy in any tool). 4⃣ Final alpha = max(BiRefNet_alpha, brightness_alpha) — that's it. No fancy weights needed. 5⃣ Feed to your engine / Comfy / whatever. Dynamic lights now play nice with zero artifacts. Mind you, this solution requires an nVidia GPU to run local inference. Alternatively, you can get it done on Colab likely with the free tier! You can try CPU, but no guarantees. Try a lighter model like BiRefNet_lite-2K. Demo is purposely in 30 fps even though I wouldn't run an anime 2D game above 12 fps - for both style and performance. Just wanted to show you the absolute results. Please bookmark this! ☑️ If you love 2D and sprite work, this is truly the best way, the best method I could find. Use it, steal it. Enjoy it! Repost if it saves your workflows too! I think I need a break... almost 40 hours straight solving this. Next are dynamic shadows, and I'm not looking forward to that...
