This is Museum Music, a project by me and chloe that generates period-appropriate soundtracks while you're in a museum exhibit! Take a pic of artwork, brochure, or sign, and MM will identify the painting or period and make a playlist of music from that era! It will seamlessly transition as you move to another exhibit. Built with OpenAI GPT Vision + Text and Spotify Engineering API! We're rolling it out slowly; DM if you'd like to try it out!

I've been playing around with Chrome's experimental HTML-in-Canvas API (I use it to create my videos), and I wanted to see if I could make text-selection work on a curved surface by moving the underlying element around on pointermove. It works pretty well!

Apparently ManMan has been around Alpha Ant, Dully, and Andre Jomarr the whole weekend knowing Ant and POODIE had beef. POODIE realize who ManMan is around he sends ManMan a text saying “Ant jumped me”. Man Man switch up and try to fight Ant👀 No shade I like Poodie and Dully so idk

Here are my thoughts on Elon's post about texting and using FSD. Let me just get ahead of some of the inevitable comments. 1) I 100% agree that it's safer to text and use FSD than it would be to disable FSD and text 2) I realize FSD is VERY good 3) be nice - try and keep the conversation civil

It's entertaining to me that I spent a decade working on the Windows UI and now I'm writing text-based apps in ncurses... but at least they have cool bar graphs! Now that I think about it, it looks more like Task Manager ever day :-)

From empty repo to a functional minimal standalone terminal based on libghostty in 2 hours, presenting Ghostling! ~600 lines of C and you get extremely accurate, performant, and proven terminal emulation. Feature list: - Resize with text reflow - Full 24-bit color and 256-color palette support - Bold, italic, and inverse text styles - Unicode and multi-codepoint grapheme handling (no shaping or layout) - Keyboard input with modifier support (Shift, Ctrl, Alt, Super) - Kitty keyboard protocol support - Mouse tracking (X10, normal, button, and any-event modes) - Mouse reporting formats (SGR, URxvt, UTF8, X10) - Scroll wheel support (viewport scrollback or forwarded to applications) - Scrollbar with mouse drag-to-scroll - Focus reporting (CSI I / CSI O) - And more. CSS Tip! ⭐️ You can use the lh (line-height) unit on background layers to emphasize multiple lines of text responsively without extra elements! ⚡️ h1 { background: linear-gradient(white, white), grey; background-size: 100% calc(var(--lines) * 1lh), 100% 100%; background-clip: text; color: transparent; } Here you emphasize the first two lines of the heading with white using a sized background-image layer It has a size of 2lh ✨ Then the rest of the element is colored with whatever other colors you want to use as layers. If you watch the video, you can see different colors used for different lines and then fade it out if you wish. You could do whatever you like with it 😎 Neat part is that it's responsive. The font-size is set with a clamp and you can resize the viewport or the element and the number of lines emphasized will remain 🤙 Last but not least, make sure to use background-clip: text and color: transparent so the background shines through 🔥 Also, note that if you're only looking to highlight the first line, you can still use the :first-line pseudo 🫶 Have a play with it and see what you can come up with!
