The amount of changes Funimation did to DBZ are a good demonstration of why so many people have a serious peeve against dubs and localization People want to enjoy the content as the author intended not as the LOCALIZERS intended.

The worst thing is that DBZ is hardly the only example. 4kids absolutely butchered anime back in the day. I do find some dubisms and edits to be rather funny though

But then, they couldn't help themselves and had to add extra lines w/ Goku talking about 'ruling the universe with the sword of injustice' or some bullshit that Goku would never say. Dammit!
