The amount of changes Funimation did to DBZ are a good demonstration of why so many people have a serious peeve against dubs and localization People want to enjoy the content as the author intended not as the LOCALIZERS intended.

So now Ethans posting Anisa discussing Ian and her Changing their names after marriage. Ian changing his to Jomha instead of her to his name Washburn. (as Another Arab with an interesting unique last name i highly identify with) Simply done because hers is more unique and gender roles in name changing are stupid and rigid for no reason. Ethan somehow finds this to be emasculating to Ian. Someone who went and fought two bouts in the ring in a way that no one can say he's not tough. It means nothing at all. And it's not lost on me that Ethan always posts Anisa where she's wearing a low cut shirt. Which obviously who cares about but Ethan seems to ALWAYS find and post those clips in particular. The BBC is running a story trying to pull at our heartstrings for starving fathers in Afghanistan who are ready to sell their young daughters just to buy food. One man weeps while holding his seven-year-old twins, saying he'll sell one to feed the rest. Another already sold his five-year-old. I don't care how hungry I get I would never do this. Not in a million years. These beautiful, innocent little girls are being treated like goods to be traded by the very men who are supposed to protect them. Instead, they're guarded by monsters. Poverty and hunger are horrific, but selling your own child isn't an "impossible choice" it's a moral failure. The BBC can frame it as tragic desperation all they want, but we should be disgusted and outraged for the daughters, not feeling sorry for the fathers willing to do this. These children deserve real protectors, not men who see them as a survival asset. Absolutely sickening

There are no innocents in Gaza. The world should be grateful to Israel - for standing on the front lines of civilization, fighting the monsters others prefer to ignore. Most men have never been initiated. There used to be a moment where a boy was recognized, challenged, and called up into manhood, by his father, or by other men. That clear line has been lost. And when there's no initiation...you don't get men. You get grown boys carrying unprocessed pain and passing down generational trauma. That is the father wound. It's the pain a man carries for not having the proper transmission of masculinity; not having the right example how to be a man in the world. That pain influences how a man leads, loves, trusts, and how he views himself. It shows up as: lack of direction, no discipline, addiction, anger/rage, insecurity, no sense of identity, fear of authority, or rebellion against it. This creates a man who is split inside: seeking approval, while trying to become the authority he never had. Keep in mind fathers usually treat their children how their father treated them (angry, critical, judgmental, abusive) But it stops with the man who decides to face his pain and learn how to father himself. Challenge Accepted 😂 he never had a chance, this man’s nine year-old daughter spotted a bunny rabbit milling around in the yard, apparently unbeknownst to her father this romance had been brewing for quite some time because what she did next was borderline diabolical. she made a proposition to her father that if she could catch the rabbit would she be able to keep it ? The father was quick with his response it was an unequivocal no, drawing on his past experience with rabbits he knew that this was a bad idea, without hesitation she upped the ante and posed another hypothetical question, if she caught the rabbit could she get a puppy ? For some unknown reason Dad changed his position from an absolute no on the Rabbit to a semi sarcastic “yeah sure” on he puppy🤔 He would live to regret changing his stance on the issue because without hesitation the little girl picked up the phone and called her grandpa and asked him to bring over his Have-a-Heart trap, dad now sensing his mistake tried to muddy the water around the issue of the trap actually doing no harm…I’m sure grandpa had the last word on this one. The moral of the story is : never match wits with a resourceful child that has lots of time on their hands to plot their next move or you just might find yourself caught in a trap😂

For days the speculation has been - will He or won't He? Will Mr. Modi go to Kuala Lumpur for the Summit or not? Now it appears certain that the PM will not go. It means the loss of so many opportunities to hug and get photo ops with world leaders or to flaunt himself as the self-styled Vishwaguru. The reason why Mr. Modi is not going is simple. COACHES: One of the most underrated traits of winning hockey is great line changes. It's so incredibly important, and last night we had two game winning goals directly impacted by them. 1. Montreal turns it over in the neutral zone and Patrik Laine changes. The puck gets transitioned right where he should be but since he gets off it creates the passing lane and the Caps feed their transition game. Anderson can't catch up after he gets off the ice which allows the time for a delay on the rush and BOOM - game winner for Washington. This play may be part of the reason Laine didn't play in the third period. 2. Rantanen wins the battle along the wall for the puck for Dallas, chips it up to Marchment, and changes. Watch how ready Seguin is for this change - he explodes off the bench and ends up scoring the game winner. If he's not READY to go, he doesn't score here as he just beats his man towards the net. Unreal job. Line changes MATTER. Get your team to buy in to changing efficiently and you'll have a better hockey team.

We are living in a time where more men are being more vocal about their feelings which many women have said they have wanted for a long time. However, some women are struggling with accepting what men have to say when it comes to them having to accept that all relationship problems are not caused by men. This is not meant to be an attack on women but many women take it as an attack and are way more interested in defending women than actually understanding what men are trying to say. It tends to be more challenging for women to emotionally regulate and to accept accountability, not because they are flawed, but because of the conditioning and training that has taught women that men are less intelligent and more than often the problem. Quality men, which there are plenty of but are often overlooked and not talked about, are tired of being blamed for everything and are no longer willing to tolerate it. They want to make it clear that most men are not like the stereotypical bs that our society teaches about men. We are living in a time where more men are being more vocal about their feelings which many women have said they have wanted for a long time. However, some women are struggling with accepting what men have to say when it comes to them having to accept that all relationship problems are not caused by men. This is not meant to be an attack on women but many women take it as an attack and are way more interested in defending women than actually understanding what men are trying to say. It tends to be more challenging for women to emotionally regulate and to accept accountability, not because they are flawed, but because of the conditioning and training that has taught women that men are less intelligent and more than often the problem. Quality men, which there are plenty of but are often overlooked and not talked about, are tired of being blamed for everything and are no longer willing to tolerate it. They want to make it clear that most men are not like the stereotypical bs that our society teaches about men.
