That is amazing, Robert. Thank you for sharing. FYI, Hong Kong police are set to introduce drone patrols in urban areas starting in the second half of 2025 to prevent burglaries, particularly in areas with old tenement buildings. Trials are also planned for border security in the northern New Territories. Modern drone patrols often incorporate AI for navigation, obstacle avoidance, and data analysis.

This place has a ton of specialized robots that do a variety of things for a variety of different businesses. sierra catalina will be happy, not a humanoid in it yet. If you're looking for a trail camera to record the hedgehogs and the goings on in your garden overnight, or a second camera, I've just trialed this one. It has great day and night picture and sound quality, uses a normal sized SD card (instead of those fiddly mini cards), 8 AA batteries, so runs a long time, and the price is amazing at just £35.99! No WiFi or set up needed, goes anywhere and is waterproof.

Their system, TITAN, is built for industrial environments: ✅ 40 kg dual-arm payload ✅ millimeter-level precision ✅ 8 hours runtime ✅ early pilots in energy, logistics, and manufacturing They call it Physical AI: The focus is on getting robots to do the kind of labor that still depends on people: repetitive, risky, and physical. IMO, what stands out isn’t the specs. It’s the claim of 11,000 robot orders❗️ If even a fraction of that turns into real deployments, it would make RoboForce one of the most widely scaled robot platforms in the world!!?? The open question is whether this shift from prototype to production is real or just the next phase of robotics storytelling. It looks very promising to me. It’s also interesting how their founder openly pushes back against the humanoid trend, arguing for wheels over legs in real industrial settings. Teleoperation today relies on WebRTC. That works for Zoom. Not for robotics. Is that statement provocative? WebRTC works for video calls. But not really for robots. I’m teleoperating from SF → London using Adamo’s stack. Zero buffering. No lag smoothing… just real-time control. Because WebRTC apps add buffers to handle: • packet loss • network jitter That’s fine when you’re talking. Not so much when you’re controlling a robot. Even small delays kill precision. So instead of adapting WebRTC… Adamo built a custom protocol + dedicated global infrastructure. Without buffering or artificial delay. A stable, real-time connection across the Atlantic. Teleoperation today relies on WebRTC. That works for Zoom. Not for robotics. Is that statement provocative? WebRTC works for video calls. But not really for robots. I’m teleoperating from SF → London using Adamo’s stack. Zero buffering. No lag smoothing… just real-time control. Because WebRTC apps add buffers to handle: • packet loss • network jitter That’s fine when you’re talking. Not so much when you’re controlling a robot. Even small delays kill precision. So instead of adapting WebRTC… Adamo built a custom protocol + dedicated global infrastructure. Without buffering or artificial delay. A stable, real-time connection across the Atlantic. This is what people underestimate about robotics: Models are just one piece of the puzzle. But looking at the entire stack, there is so much more. And Sometimes you can’t reuse what exists. One of the why questions we’re always asking is how can we help operations employees access inventory more efficiently? We’re taking a big leap forward by introducing DeepFleet, an exciting new AI model that makes our one million+ robot fleet work smarter. For employees, it opens up new opportunities – our robots handle physically demanding tasks and heavy lifting, making our fulfillment centers safer, while our people take on more technical roles. America is not going to catch up to Chinese robotics companies. The Chinese ecosystem is far more advanced than even in San Francisco. I've been visiting as many in the San Francisco ecosystem as I can and they all tell me this is true, with the exception of Tesla. So, the world is about to be flooded with Chinese robots of all types. Do business people anywhere, whether they are in Europe, India, America, or Asia, want to gift all their data to the Chinese? No. Dimensional has the answer, and here I visit with Stash and his team who already have an OS running on a variety of Chinese robotics. And they are building a new kind of OS (I call it a World Model, but it doesn't matter what you call it, we are headed toward an AGI that can make a robot get smarter and smarter over time and do more and more things autonomously over time) and here Stash goes into his work and gives you a very intimate look into one of San Francisco's most interesting robotics startups I've met.
