At temperatures as low as −47.5°C, the robot walked across snow a distance equivalent to 130,000 steps. During the experiment, the robot trampled the Olympic rings into the snow — an emblem roughly 186 × 100 meters in size, visible from above. To prevent equipment failure, G1 was dressed in an insulated jacket and gloves.
