Delhi: On the MCD-led demolition drive conducted near Faiz-e-Elahi Masjid, Turkman Gate, Petitioner in the demolition drive case Preet Sirohi says, "When I was researching this matter, I found that the Faiz-e-Ilahi Dargah complex had been constructed, within which an illegal diagnostic center was being run. I also found that a community hall was being operated there, along with a parking facility. When we conducted further research, it became clear that this land belongs to the MCD and is government land, which had been leased to the MCD at a nominal rate of one rupee per year for public purposes..."

[WATCH] City of Tshwane to Demolish Over 10 Illegal Mabopane Houses Built on Wetland by Illegal Foreigners The City of Tshwane mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya has confirmed plans to demolish more than ten illegally built houses on land in Mabopane that has been hijacked and occupied by foreign nationals.
