You'd think that all the geoglyphs of the Nazca region have been documented by now, but that's not the case. There are dozens of geometric geoglyphs that don't resemble the anthropomorphic or zoomorphic figurative designs of the most famous figures, nor the trapezoidal shapes that are found throughout the region's desert. Here is an example of these geometric motifs, whose lines are often too fine to be seen from an airplane or on satellite images. This photogrammetric model and the overlay of lines was created by the talented Marián Marčiš from drone videos. I'll be going back to Nazca next month to film as many new ones as I can. Who do you think made them and why?

The truth has a way of revealing itself, no matter how long it’s buried. I think we are seeing examples of this around the world today. As I’ve spent time examining Diana’s death, I’ve been struck by how many questions still have no clear answers in this case. Looking at what’s happening around the world, it feels like the right moment to take a closer, more honest look at what really happened that night. I believe there may have been foul play involved. I enjoyed working on this episode. The research and the people we spoke to made it a great experience.

I found a video with no audio, attached to researchers going through documents and video of photographs related to THE ROSWELL INCIDENT, 1947. Did they forget to edit out this part showing pictures of debris and possibly a craft buried in the mesa? Are these the first pictures of the 1947 UFO crash site? I could be totally wrong - worth checking.

University of Houston baseball coach Todd Whitting expects he'll meet with AD Eddie Nunez soon, possibly as early as today, as his future is decided. Whitting to PaperCity Magazine on if he's thought that this could be it, that this game could have been his last as UH's coach: "Till I'm not the head baseball coach here, I am. I love this university. I love the people in it. "Those guys on the field. The coaching staff. All those people sitting up in the stands. It's a great place. It's a great university. It has great leadership. I look forward to seeing what's ahead at the University of Houston."

Artists of today can’t be as famous as artists from the 90s and early to mid-20s, like Beyoncé, Whitney, Celine etc. Your album could sell 20k and a single chart at #90 and a larger percentage of the world would know it. Now you can sell 5 million in a week, and the number of people who will know it won’t be as many as it was then. A song could have 10 billion streams on Spotify and you would see people who have never heard it. The streaming era has totally fragmented the market that even the most famous and successful artists of today are still not as famous as even the least famous and successful ones from back then.

This is a really cool side by side video of the two versions of this ride. When you look at it like this, Bayou Adventure isn’t as bad compared to Splash as many people make it out to be. The issue is that this is the Disneyland version which doesn’t have as much dead space because it’s a little shorter than the one at WDW. If they could flesh out Floridas a little more, it would be even better.

Olubunmi Kuku is one of President Tinubu’s best appointees - so far - in my opinion. It is easy for me to say this and not wonder if I am being biased, because I don’t know her personally, never met her and never tried to. However, as someone who is obsessed with the state of our airports and haven’t stopped writing about them for more than a decade now, I couldn’t be more impressed. My 1st trip out of the country this year took me via Abuja. I always said compared to Lagos, NAIA Abuja offered better travel experience. The interesting thing is, I noticed an even better process. The crowd of officers right after the first scanner has reduced to 2. NDLEA. That placed looked saner. I am hoping this goes to zero - again, the scanner either works or doesn’t - but I will take this improvement any day. Because I know how tough making change can be. The second round of officers after the main scanner has reduced to 1. Another NDLEA officer. This time, a courteous lady. Again, I look forward to the day it is zero. The scanner either works or doesn’t. But anyone who knows the state of both situations I just described will certainly have a sense of appreciation for how far the airport has come. I haven’t traveled through MMIA since the FAAN/Ministry of Aviation circular but I have monitored other people’s reports. Things are better than the last time I landed there on the 2nd of December 2024. I am fully in support of the current FAAN leadership, as led by Olubunmi Kuku. People like her deserve all the support they can get. Because, know it or not, it is tough even for the heads of these organisations to make change happen. When you hear “culture eats strategy for lunch”, reflect on how that applies in systems that abhor change by design. And you’d have an appreciation for reformists in government. God bless Nigeria.

People like her deserve all the support they can get. Because, know it or not, it is tough even for the heads of these organisations to make change happen. When you hear “culture eats strategy for lunch”, reflect on how that applies in systems that abhor change by design. And you’d have an appreciation for reformists in government. God bless Nigeria.
