Another reason for S&C classes during the school day: kids after school schedules are OVER schedule- homework, work, practice, games, social life. If they can get it done during an elective. Let them! Their school experience doesn’t end after the last bell. Make their life easier

Even worse. “Should’ve gone during break” doesn’t work on a child. Kids aren’t on a schedule like that. Let them use the bathroom. 😡💔

Personally for me - young children get far more life experience & education from a week abroad with their family vs. Learning about 2,826 Genders & rainbow flags in school these days.

Too many kids are over scheduled. Organized sports, music lessons, after school activities... The issue is that kids are missing out on one of the most important activities for their development: Unstructured play. Play is where kids get to use their imagination & creativity. Its how they learn to socialize & develop problem solving skills. Its been shown to support healthy brain development & lower stress. Kids need minimum 1hr a day of time & space to do whatever they please. Make it a pillar in their schedule and add other activities around it.

School children and their parents blocked Tsotne Dadiani street in Tbilisi - unexpectedly for everyone. They are fed up with online classes and want their school to finally be constructed. I wonder if they are going to jail anyone from this particular protest for 15 days, since they “artificially blocked the road.” When journalists asked them, the parents knew about the draconian law and didn't care. A positive little development. Hope many more social issues follow, and better sooner than later. 📷 MOSE
