Another Russian jet-powered “Geran-3” is intercepted by a Ukrainian “Sting” drone. This may be a Sting 2.0, developed by Wild Hornets for higher speeds without losing range. Regular Stings could be made to go faster, but they would drain the battery too quickly.

Videos that have been published captured two cases of successful interception of jet-powered "Gerans" by anti-aircraft drones from the rear hemisphere — catching up with them from behind. This indicates that Ukrainian interceptors are capable of developing significantly higher speeds than the jet-powered drone and can effectively pursue and catch it.

Here is what appears to be the first ever footage of a Russian Geran-3 jet drone in action, flying over Kyiv Oblast this morning. Geran-3 drones generally fly at a speed of around 550 km/h, compared to the Geran-2's 185km/h. Production for Geran-3 drones has skyrocketed recently (alongside that of the Geran-2) resulting in significantly higher usage, especially on targets in Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Poltava Oblasts.
