I notice there's a social engineering play to attack boomers, presumably because they have pensions and own their own homes. Instead of making sure we all have the same, the engineers want us to turn on the boomers.

I am a boomer ( 1963)....I not only raised my grand daughter and still do at 22, but raised to grandsons, 13/15.....I have also had many others kids live yes live with me throughout the years. I give 100 percent to all who come here.

to be fair, our boomer parents never spent much time with their own kids. We were feral.

Always trying to blame someone else. The silent generation always took us boomers to see our grandparents. Get off your sorry self serving asses X and Millennials, and show some respect for your elders. No wonder the world went to hell.

I’m gonna speak up for boomers… They might actually be tired from raising their kids, caring for their elderly parents & full time careers. The younger generations in their linage always helped the elderly. They did as their parents & grandparents before them.

Boomer Here. When I was young, we were taken to Grandparents for visiting. It was always an exciting time for us. The youngsters WENT to the elders out of respect for them. Not the other way around like today. I visit nursing homes where the children dump the parents and never see them again. Yeah ... that's tough on the heart. The Silent Generation is leaving us and the Boomers are headed to take their place. The honoring is the father and mother has lessened with each generation. I've been around long enough to witness this.

Ppl used to have 3 grandkids at 45. Today, millennials wait way too long and grandparents are in their 50s or 60s….you just cannot expect the same level of of support from a great grandmother as you can from a grandmother

I've noticed the opposite. So many boomers raising their grand kids because the parent just flaked out.

We always went to my grandparents home.....we'd have Sunday dinner or we'd go on a saturday morning. They were not expected to come and see us,but we spent time with them, and it was great!!
