I spoke briefly yesterday at the 67th Birthday Anniversary Summit of respected journalist and activist, Mr. Richard Akinnola, held at the Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos with the theme: Handshake Across the Niger: “The Yoruba/Igbo Detente”. This year’s summit was designed to address the growing tribal tensions between the Igbos and the Yorubas in Lagos. I stand by my position that the demonic and poisonous tribalism we are currently seeing is politically motivated, it is meant to keep the APC in power. Nigerians should focus on the leadership failures we’re witnessing, and reject the tribal politics that is destroying our country.

The campaign has ended, but the mission remains. We must wrest control of our country away from the corporations and back into the hands of people. And the only force capable of doing that is a movement of people unlike any we have seen in generations. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and supported this campaign, to all the young people who got involved in politics for the first time through this campaign, and I hope you will stay in this fight with me.

Remember the infamous Davido x ChiefPriest visit to Aso Rock last year? It was all in a bid to make peace. Unfortunately the victims of this war as usual are the innocent people. Does Nirmala Sitharaman come under ur charge or that of BJP Tamilnadu - that u are apologising on her behalf?? Few Critical Questions - 1.
