Apple iPhone 16 vs Pixel 9: Which one should you buy? So it turns out, it's more than just the name that Apple borrowed. iPhone Duo is the first folding phone I've seen copy the Surface Duo's unique multitasking and windowing system pretty much 1:1! iPhone Duo can treat each half of the folding display as separate, letting you dock an app to one side and view your home screen on the other, just like Surface Duo. The gestures for multitasking are identical between iPhone Duo and Surface Duo too. You drag an app to the side you want and it fills that half of the screen. You can pick the app up and move it to the other side, and everything will dynamically adjust. It even does the "automatic" multitasking that I've raved about on Surface Duo. If you open a link in an app, it'll move the app over and open the link in your browser. Surface Duo did this, and now iPhone Duo does too. I've been waiting for a folding phone to copy the Surface Duo's unique multitasking and windowing behavior, and we finally have one in the form of iPhone Duo. Well done, Apple. Between the wide form factor like Surface Duo, the pen support like Surface Duo, and now the multitasking like Surface Duo... I think Surface Duo fans may have finally found their Surface Duo 3 in iPhone Duo.

I found an old screen recording from my iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 17 Decided to compare the animations to my iPhone 17 with iOS 27, and I have so many thoughts 😭 Overall, iOS 17 is INFINITELY smoother than iOS 27, purely due to its animation speed. Opening and closing apps is slow and elegant, accompanied by a beautiful wallpaper zoom. 27 is rough, fast, and lacks fluidity. For some reason, they got rid of the wallpaper zoom when opening/closing apps, making everything feel flat. All of that is paired with the atrocious performance of the iOS screen recorder that started with iOS 18 and still hasn’t been fixed. Notice how there are zero jitters on iOS 17, but both jitters and artifact on 27. This is not a hate post. I just wanted to share my thoughts. And no, this isn’t the problem of a “beta”. Stable iOS 26 has the exact same issues. Thanks 💔

Apple just turned Siri into a wrapper. the most genius business move in AI this year. iOS 27 will lets us use claude, gemini, grok, perplexity, and more through Siri. install the app, toggle it on in settings. they spent years trying to make Siri compete. they couldn’t. so they turned the iPhone into an AI marketplace instead. every AI company now fights for a slot on 2.5 billion devices. Apple takes 30% of every subscription. no models to train. no data centers to build. no compute costs. just distribution. the middleman always win. the company that lost the AI race just figured out how to tax everyone lmao.

🌟 "SHOULD I BUY AN IPHONE FOR TRACKING?" 🌟 tl;dr at bottom I've been using a facecam and Nvidia tracking for a long time and upgrading to a used iphone 13 combined with vbridger, the difference is HUGE. Here is my take on it! Why is Facecam > iPhone? ✅️ More affordable, esp for those using android phones ✅️ More convenient. If you launch Vtubestudio, there's a setting where your webcam automatically turns on, which is great. ✅️ Can track pretty well in the dark IF you already have a good webcam for night tracking. ❌️❌️ Stiff tracking at times ❌️ Not good at tracking specific mouth movement Why iPhone > Facecam? ✅️✅️ You can make the most of your model, since movement along the X and Y axes are a lot more accurate and wider. Also tracks eyes and overall face better. ✅️ More EXPRESSIONS. If your rigging allows for it, things like cheek puff, and tongue are able to be tracked. As far as I know, I cannot do this on facecam. ❌️❌️ WAY more expensive or requires that you have an iPhone already. Needs more set-up (need phone stand right in front of you, need to hook your phone up to a charger at all times, phone could possibly overheat as well if it's old, so you might need a cooler). TL;DR For me, if you have an extra 200 to spare for WAY better tracking, I would 1000% recommend buying a used iPhone on Amazon. iPhone X is the BARE minumum, I would recommend 12/13 so that your phone does not overheat. I do not need to use a cooler for my used iPhone 13. Being able to use my rigging to its fullest makes the model feel so so so different (in a good way). Today’s TikTok tip : Setting up your phone I’ll continue from where I stoped yesterday When setting up a new phone , when you get to the screen where you are asked to enter your Apple ID Don’t ever enter an Apple ID that has been used to formerly create an account before , you are likely to get banned if you create TikTok from it Tap on create a new Apple ID , if it proceeds to the next screen , you are safe , if it does not , you will get a message that you can’t create Apple ID, this happens when you have used the phone to create too many Apple ID Just leave the phone for a month and come back to it or get a new phone For the first name and last name , i use the name of my account that I want to name Also when creating passwords , don’t use the password that consist of any of the names you added , it won’t work, I don’t know why After that enter your email address, don’t use a spam email or an email with + somerhing , Apple knows how to catch this well, you want to use a fresh email address , for this I use some of the emails I have already instead , we will use this email to verify the phone later Now to the phone number side , for numbers, purchase as from juicysms and smspva for Apple number purchase , tried some other ones before but you just need a disposable number for this to verify that Apple account that’s all. GUYS!!! Quit feeling bummed about Niantic destroying our global communities and the constant screw ups with events / features that end in terrible compensation!!!!!! The team has been working on groundbreaking user experience updates 😀🙂😐 Anyway, since we're on the topic can we discuss other ideas that would actually improve UXP significantly compared to reorganizing the research tab that most of us have probably gotten used to by now anyway and that didn't have an explicitly negative impact on playing the game? Lol 1. This is an obvious one. I mean, they did a whole upgrade to the research tab and couldn't be bothered to include the ONE LINE OF CODE that ALREADY EXISTS IN THEIR FILES to make the BATTLE PASS REWARDS COLLAPSIBLE???????? Come on lol 2. An update to navigating within gyms would be nice :) i attached a video of me trying to feed berries and no matter what or how I clicked or swiped I could not get to that gdamn accelgor 🫠 can we have some ARROWS at the sides of the screen so we can actually get to each pokemon efficiently?! 3. Similar to #2, except with the friends list. When scrolling left and right through friends (as in, not in the list view) the scrolling function itself is not smoothe and it's too easy to accidentally press the trade or battle screen and get caught there for a sec. Frustrating little experience, could be easily fixed with arrows on the screen. 4. While we're on the topic of friends, let us see if we've interacted with a friend from their avatar screen and not just in list view from the blue aura around the avi's face :) In the grand scheme of everything Niantic does wrong with the game, these are... MINISCULE issues 🙂 but since they're apparently into focusing on UXP updates, instead of, like, making sure events and features run smoothly and players are properly compensated when they don't, it would be nice to get updates that actually fix some negative / inefficient aspects of navigating through the game 🙂 rather than an aesthetics tweak lol 🙂

My wife bought a brand new iPhone at the Apple store located at Jakande, Lekki Phase 1,Lagos last September. We decided to trade it in for a new one today at the Apple Store located at Westfield Stratford City Arcade (London) a few minutes ago Only God did not let them call the police on us The attendant scanned the IPhone and declared that it had been reported as stolen. Stolen from where? It was not a used iPhone It was new, purchased from an approved Apple Store and we have all the receipts intact The attendant saw our indignation and went ahead to consult with her superiors They scanned again and they declared that it was reported “missing”. They adjusted their language from stolen to missing and told us it has zero swap value. I was not shocked at all even though I should be. Nigerians like cutting corners for unhealthy gains and they always believe this is good business for them as long as they were able to make a buck. Somehow we were able to walk out of that Apple Store without any drama but I remember telling my wife that we would have had a lot of explaining to do if they had a policy that required that they must report such incidents to the police. Nigerian business people must try to do better than this There is something called integrity, it has a higher value than the dirty gains they think they are getting by playing dirty. I have always insisted on buying things in Nigeria because it helps the economy but I can see the reason many prefer to shop abroad. We must do better than this as a people. -GSW-

Probably the hackiest "bypasses" I've ever pulled off in botting: The Shopify REST API was for a long time the best and fastest way to checkout on Shopify. High rate limits, no captchas, no checkpoint and easy to work with. This is what gave Cyber the edge at the very start in 2018 (Dashe days) The Shopify team (with Jean-Michel Lemieux at the helm) spent years plugging the holes to make sure it wasn't used during drops. Around 2020, Shopify released Shopify Pay, which allowed you to expedite checkouts on all stores by linking your details to a phone number. Turned out the payment tokens generated through there allowed you to use the payments API as you could 2 years back. We generated around 3k Shop Pay accounts with randomised details, load balanced them across Cyber tasks (as rate limits were per account) and dominated every single release (...until it got patched). We called it Fast2. 3 years later I noticed that the payments API could still be used with Shopify mobile apps using Apple Pay. Turns out you could still send the users' tokenised credit card data in the request and that would take precedence - and as long as a valid signed Apple Pay token generated in the last 2 minutes was also in the request data, the payment request would go through and bypass captcha and checkpoint. Generating those Apple Pay tokens was the challenge, and reversing iOS frameworks was not an option. So I repurposed an old iPhone with a custom sideloaded Apple Pay app that would submit the token to our servers when the flow completed. And by combining accessibility macros, developer sandbox mode to prevent using real credit cards, a voice activation trigger and a old pair of earphones taped onto the microphone - a makeshift Apple Pay token server was born and Fast2 (or was it Fast3?) was back. In 2007, I designed tools that let anyone draw on top of Google Maps. People could drop pins, draw lines and shapes, and layer their own meaning onto the world with "My Maps." But nearly 20 years later, one tiny design debate has stayed with me: how should people draw a shape? At the time, we had two options. 1. Draw mode: users click and drag to create. 2. Drop + edit: the app drops a default shape, then users resize + move it. I pushed hard for draw mode. People were tracing rivers and roads, so precision mattered. A default square dropped in the middle of Kansas wasn’t going to cut it. Decades later, this same debate is still playing out in modern tools: → Figma, Illustrator, Google Slides use draw mode → Canva, Keynote, PowerPoint use drop + edit While there clearly isn't consensus, some newer products are evolving beyond these patterns: → FigJam gracefully merges draw mode and drop + edit into one concept with its semi-transparent “ghost” objects. → Apple Photos on iPhone is a great context for drop + edit. The canvas is small and the mobile user inputs are limited. After decades of using digital drawing tools, I still bristle when a tool drops an unsolicited rectangle onto my screen. At best, it feels presumptuous. At worst, it feels lazy. When we built My Maps, we designed tools that invited users to create. We provided the means, but we let people lead. That same principle applies to every product today: understand who you’re building for and what they need, then design the simplest, most intuitive workflows — ones that let users lead. Sources say three dogs live in the home with Marsian and girlfriend Madison Harmon, who reportedly claims Goose, in the video, is her dog. The other animals reportedly include a puppy rescued from a Walmart parking lot and a blue heeler mix named Winnie, said to have been given to Marsian by his mother. The young puppy was allegedly left in a crate for more than 14 hours at a time with minimal food and water. Marsian has reportedly said the sheriff had already checked on the dog and that there would be no consequences. Now we're hearing from sources that the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said the incident could potentially be treated as a misdemeanor and that they are now looking into the situation. 🐶 Let's make sure that this dog gets justice.
