@susannareid100 The correct question is to ask if people provided money to do *anything* would still choose to work to earn additional income and the answer is yes they would. Also, money to do nothing is universal credit. The condition is keeping a low enough income.

@susannareid100 Oh look, it's GB News presenter Michelle Dewberry given a platform on GMB this morning. Another day another step on the road to GMB slowly morphing into GB News. Is it just me or do others see it too ?

@susannareid100 This could change peoples lives and help so many people, including those with health conditions and disabilities. But as ever, the commentary is by those that are not in that situation, so they go on the negative. They say they want to help get rid of poverty, yet fail to listen.

@susannareid100 £1600, when you get nothing else, is not going to stop people working Whats more likely, is people do more temp work, as the worry of signing off and on again goes. Or improve their education, spend more time with their family, or heaven forbid, just generally enjoy life a more

@susannareid100 Dewberry in a relationship with multi millionaire Jordan, getting vexed by a pilot to help those who due to circumstances could do with a different type of support. When AI changes the job market, all the naysayers will be begging for UBI. #GMB #UniversalBasicIncome #Susanna
