Ari Emanuel says Marc Andreessen 🇺🇸 is wrong that psychedelics make founders work less hard: “That’s complete bulls**t. I had this argument with Marc.” “5-MeO-DMT, that’s the best psychedelic in the world.” “With 5-MeO, you smoke it. You’re tripping for about 30 minutes, and you realize how small we...

Joe: “Stephen, I’d like to congratulate you for being the latest black person to be called low IQ by President Trump. It’s quite a long and distinguished list of people.” Stephen A. Smith: “Hold on, just because he did that I’m not going to let you do that. There’s plenty of white people that he called low IQ too. I’m not going to fall for that. I’m not saying you are trying to. You’re not doing anything wrong, Joe. You’re not inaccurate… He’s also accused a lot of white people of having a low IQ as well.” “Let’s not use that as a reason and cause to engage in the racial dynamics of the situation. I’m not taking it that way. I don’t think that Donald Trump does this to black people and not this to white people. I think Donald Trump does anything to anybody who is anti-Trump. He don’t give a d*mn what color, ethnicity, race, or group you are associated with. He could care less. If you are not pro-Trump, you are his enemy, and he treats you like it. That is what I believe.”

Kyle Shanahan explains how struggling in Washington ultimately removed his ego from coaching, and says it changed the why behind why he wanted to do it “When you go through some of that stuff, you realize you don’t need to label anything whether it’s good or bad. It’s just an experience. You want to coach or you’re not.” “That’s what was hard when you’re younger. You expect it to all be good, and you’re looking at my dad’s legacy and stuff that used to mean a lot to me growing up.” “Then you get into it and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, that stuff can all be ruined.’ There’s a whole other reason why I want to do this. It isn’t about that.” “Let me just let that go. I really actually love football. I actually like coaching, and I do want to adjust and figure this stuff out. Hopefully it’ll work out for me, and if it doesn’t, you live with it.” “But it took me going to Washington. I feel like that took my ego out of the game. After a few years I’m like, you know what? That’s actually not why I want to do this. I know my dad was the man regardless of what happens.” “I just want to get as good as I can and hopefully it provides the life for my family that it did for me, and hopefully I go through some cool experiences that a lot of people wish they could, and I’m going to make sure I enjoy it.”

Marc Andreessen says in the future, we may not have programming languages or even user interfaces: "I kind of think that in 10 years, I'm not sure there will even be a salient concept of a programming language in the way that we understand it today." "If you project forward, you have to think forward to a world in which it's just—I'm going to tell the thing what I need, and it's going to do it in whatever way is most optimal." Kobe Bryant says when he shifted from player to CEO he sought to hire curious people and stopped caring as much about how many hours they worked, and started caring more about the quality of their work “I expect excellent work. We all do. I don’t care if you’re here in the office at 6:00 a.m. and you leave at midnight. If the work that you do is average, this is not the home for you.” “Conversely, you cannot be in an office at all and have excellent work, this is the place for you. I don’t really care if you’re here.” “There are a lot of guys that get in the gym and work hard, work hard, work hard, work hard—but then they can’t transition that to 7:30.” “The important thing is curiosity first. I want curious people. People that ask questions, that want to figure things out, figure out new ways to do things. That’s the most important thing.” “Then from that curiosity, having a determination to see that curiosity through. If you figure out this is a particular course of action that we feel like we should be taking, has it been done before? No? That’s exciting to me. Let’s figure it out.”

Jimmy Butler says the Warriors organization is a great organization and he doesn’t want to be anywhere else: “It’s not good, it’s great. It legitimately is the best. You don’t realize it until you’ve been in other places, and I’m not talking down on anybody that are quite lesser than… You’re talking about the way that yall run everything, the people that you have around, obviously the guys that get to rep the uniform. They just do everything the right way, the winning way, and it definitely shows in everything that we do here. I’m grateful to be a part of it now, and when I say I don’t want to be anywhere else, this is it.”

Billy Donovan explains why he’s not sure if the transfer portal is preparing players the right way for adversity in their lives “The one thing that I don’t like about NIL is, I have always felt that you guys, while you’re in college, should be taken care of with the amount of money that gets generated through athletics. So I think we’re all in agreement on that. Probably should have happened a long time ago.” “My issue with NIL is I think you’re teaching kids a really, really bad precedent. That you can go over here and make this amount of money, and then you’re not happy and pick up and go somewhere else.” “When you go to the NBA, you take a job and you sign a contract. You’re under contract. And I just don’t know how much that’s helping guys.” “What happens if one of these guys does get drafted, whether it be in the NFL, the NBA, and they sign a four-year deal and they’re not happy in the situation, not getting ready to play? They can’t leave.” “I think that you’ve got to be able to work your way through some adversity and difficulty sometimes to find out a little bit more about yourself. The way it’s set up, there’s no resiliency of going through anything that’s difficult and tough in life.” “I’m not begrudging anybody for making anything financially. But when you get into the real world and you sign contracts, you’re going to have to be responsible to those to a certain extent.”

I can….just stop playing with my name man because I worked hard to build it….Pat (Bev) is still going…I hope you send me those thank you flowers for the viewership you got.” (via Par 3 Podcast/Heat Diehards)

I’m drained. I’m tired. 😪 I made this video February, saying to myself how I’m trusting God that everything won’t be the same before June/year ends but guess what? We are in June and it’s still the same. I put in efforts, I put in the work but nothing just seems to work. I’m honestly tired, if I think of how invested I am in the skill, I will just burst into tears and say I’m never giving up but this moment? I’m not sure if I want to keep going 😭💔 I’m drained, I’m tired, I’m stressed but I still say to myself that all will be fine meanwhile it is not. 💔 I tried so much on this my funded acc, just one mistake messed it all up at first, went into remaining just 0.5% to blow it off, I remained calm and took it back to remaining 4% and now it’s gone. I’m sorry but I have failed 😣💔. I have fucking failed myself. I hope I find peace with it. 🖊️ Or maybe I get the chance to try again and not fail. I’m so sorry Adufe for giving up. 😔 DAVID 📊 you should be happy now, remember the meanest things you said to me? How I’m never going to be profitable? How you called me a female unprofitable? Shamed my religion/tribe by calling me names thinking I was Hausa because I cover up. You said I trade prop for months which I’m sure I’m not the only one on this table. You recently wrote to me and asked if I’m still not trading with $5k prop because you are no longer in the category that you are now trading 50k$ above forgetting everybody had a beginning. All because I called you out for scamming in a community we were both in on discord. And you are still scamming, ༆ 𝐒ᴘᴇɴᴄᴇʀ_𝐃𝐂 ༆🧃 can testify to it with proofs. I was never trying to proof you wrong but You won 🥇🙃.

John Wall says NIL money is exposing who's really hungry and who's not “If you’re a star player and you know you’re going top five, cool. Get your money. But don’t let that change you.” “I’ve got my tournament, right? A kid comes in that plays for Overtime Elite. I’m thinking he’s the star player. He comes in with three chains on, ski mask on, walking into my gym.” “So I’m looking at him like, ‘Oh, he’s the guy.’ How many minutes did the man play in the game? Two. They were down 20 and he played the last two minutes.” “I’m like, ‘Your mindset is all backwards.’ You’re buying all these chains. You’re walking in with a ski mask. And you’re not going to go nowhere.” “If you get NIL, you’ve got to have a great foundation, parents or a great management team around you, so you know how to manage it. Because it’s already kind of preparing you for the NBA.” “These guys are getting $3 million, $4 million in high school. I look at it like this… If I’m getting $3 million in high school… I’ve got the best car on campus. I’m making the most money on campus. Am I waking up at 5 a.m. to work out the same way? I better.” “I don’t think a lot of these kids are. That’s where it’s like, ‘Oh, I got this early.’ Now what’s my purpose of getting to the league? Now you know if a kid really loves the game. Because I’m already getting what I really want… The money. The cars. The fame. So do you really love the game?”

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Vin Baker talking about their first season with the Miami Heat: “It’s not good enough. Making 10 in a minute, it’s not good enough. I promise you it’s going to be December 12th playing against Charlotte — that shot is going in. It will go in. Once we’re in the season and things are going the way they’re supposed to — you get in a place where you’re like ‘okay’ but until that happens — anything anyone tells me my spider sense is up…until I’m in game 40 and I’m busting their a** for 40 games…I’m not saying I’m going to relax…I’m still him, like I’m still that guy.” Giannis is MOTIVATED.

I’m a real Republican—don’t get it twisted. 🇺🇸 You can love your party and still call it out when it drifts. That’s not betrayal, that’s conviction. The party I grew up with, believed in discipline, strategy, and showing up united when it counted. Somewhere along the way, that got hijacked. Here’s the thing: politics isn’t about noise—it’s about execution. The Republicans, at their best, know how to organize, rally, and stick to the script. That’s how you win. You want to build something lasting? You build a coalition—a big, messy, beautiful mosaic of America—and you actually know how to hold it together. Say what you want about me—but I’m not the one who changed.

Chris Bosh explains how Kobe Bryant taught him that greatness is mostly an unglamorous routine “If you’re trying to go after something, it’s a process and you cannot cheat it. That is one thing you cannot do. You can’t cheat the process, and even then that doesn’t guarantee you anything. You have to have your stuff together because you want to win, that doesn’t guarantee a win. You just have to make sure you’re doing your process.” “I had the chance to have a conversation with Kobe. We were friendly and we tried to have dinner once a year. He always talked about loving the process of what you do. That’s important. You have to love what you do and love putting the work in because some days are going to suck. It’s always going to suck to go in the gym and shoot 10,000 free throws.” “Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, Kobe, this is amazing.’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, that’s cool, but think about my day. I get up at 4:30am, take my kids to school, I lift weights, I go to practice, I pick them up from school, then I’ve got to do treatment because I’m 35 years old in the league. Then I’ve got to do treatment, and by the time I finish all that stuff, the day’s over. I don’t do anything else. This is all I do.’” “If you take on that approach to something that you love, if you can stick with it even in those tough days, that’s where you want to be.” “You gotta love the grind, man. That’s the part I always like to think of anytime something gets hard. If I’m pursuing a goal and I want to quit, it’s going to come. It’s going to come. It’s okay.” “How many people would quit right now? That’s the first thing I think about. Then I keep going. I’m like, okay, I’m not going to let this drop me off and keep me away from what I’m doing.”

Life is short. Enjoy it and make the best of it! Naval “It’s even briefer than that. Each moment just disappears. It’s gone. There’s only a present moment, and it’s gone instantly. So if you’re not there for it, if you’re stressed out, or you’re anxious, or you’re thinking about something else, you missed it. So the true wasted time is a time that you are not present for, when you are not there for it, when you are not doing the thing you want to do to the best of your capabilities such that you’re immersed in it. If you’re not immersed in this moment, then you’re wasting your time.” Chris Williamson

If you’re seeing this, that means you made it through another day—and I know for some of you, that alone took everything you had. I’m not here to tell you everything’s fine. I’m here to remind you: you still have a chance. Another day means another shot. Maybe life feels like it’s falling apart, maybe you’re tired of pretending you’re okay—but the fact that you’re still here? That means something. You were given this day for a reason. Don’t waste it. Use whatever little strength you have left and take one step. That’s enough. Just don’t stop.

Bill Maher Tells Mike Tyson what he Doesn't like about Islam. Bill Maher: “You’re a Muslim. Is the whole family Muslim?” Mike Tyson: “It’s my wife and my kids. They have to choose what they want to be.” Bill Maher: “And you’re okay with that?” Mike Tyson: “Absolutely.” Bill Maher: “That is not a point of view that’s even allowed in many Muslim countries around the world. There is one religion, it is Islam, and they’re not big on, ‘Hey, you know what? Let’s agree to disagree.’” Mike Tyson: “But listen, I’m not Allah.” Bill Maher: “I know. I’m just saying that’s something you’re allowed to do here as an American Muslim.” Mike Tyson: “I learned from experience. I’m not going to stop that growth from something that my growth is extending with. I’ve grown with it, but that’s not their growth.” Bill Maher: “I’m just pointing out that this enlightened point of view is not found uniformly around the world.” Mike Tyson: “You’d be surprised how many Muslims want to come in that think the way we think.” Bill Maher: “I’m not surprised. And women who don’t want to wear the you know, whatever the thing that looks like a cover of a motorboat.” Mike Tyson: “Well, some people are more modest. I wish I had the dignity to be that modest.” Bill Maher: “Modest? Why do you say that?” Mike Tyson: “Because they believe in covering themselves, and I’m like, you said I gotta be I don’t have much money. I gotta be in this cheap-ass plane with all these people and talking to these people.” Bill Maher: “One thing is modesty. Completely covering a woman so you don’t see any of her is different. This isn’t modest. That’s pathological.” Mike Tyson: “Suppose she’s happy with that.” Bill Maher: “She’s not. Oh my God, she’s not happy with it. I mean, you can brainwash someone into liking anything.”

🐿️ as a build up (towards trying to live in patterns i haven’t lived in before), i feel like in the k-pop scene, you can’t just do it with music 🐿️ no matter how good you are, people need to know who you are, they have to have heard you somewhere to decide whether or not they’ll listen to more from you 🐿️ that’s why even with my solo variety show…it coming out because you guys were waiting for my content is about 60-70% of the reason and about 30-40% is to show who i am as a person 🐿️ when i do variety shows…variety shows are still difficult for me so i used to rely on the members a lot, on soobin & beomgyu 🐿️ i’m good at things like interviews, i can confidently say that i’m the one that’s good at interviews because i have firmly have something on my mind and i’m not someone that has a hard time expressing that in words…in words? in sentences. so those things are really fun to me 🐿️ but it’s not easy for interviews to be known externally because they’re not like variety shows 🐿️ of course our moas watch it, and i’m really grateful for that. moas watch it and go “ah they said that~” but if you’re not (a moa) then you wouldn’t know 🐿️ that’s why i’m been trying to put in effort into that aspect as well
