Last night Trump really said this! “And we have a man who is totally corrupt and the worst president in the history of our country who is cognitively impaired, in no condition to lead and is now in charge of dealing with Russia and possibly nuclear war. "We would be in World War II very quickly if we are going to be relying on this man.” Perhaps the man who thinks World War II has yet to come is the one who is "cognitively impaired." Artists of today can’t be as famous as artists from the 90s and early to mid-20s, like Beyoncé, Whitney, Celine etc. Your album could sell 20k and a single chart at #90 and a larger percentage of the world would know it. Now you can sell 5 million in a week, and the number of people who will know it won’t be as many as it was then. A song could have 10 billion streams on Spotify and you would see people who have never heard it. The streaming era has totally fragmented the market that even the most famous and successful artists of today are still not as famous as even the least famous and successful ones from back then.
