The hardest part of being a brand designer and content creator isn't having the skills. It's proving them in the wild. I'm Oloba, a full-stack creative brand designer, illustrator, NFT artist, and UGC creator. Over the past 12 months, I worked closely with Zerion and Lyvely as a Content Partner and Brand Ambassador. As a content partner, I created short form videos, long form videos and street-style video contents for X, Instagram, Tiktok and Lyvely. The video contents ranged from 30 seconds to 15 minutes and it aimed at engaging and educating the target audience. While working with Zerion, I created engaging, educational and conversion focused content using storytelling. The content I created highlighted Zerion's value clearly and pushed users to download the app and get onboard. At Lyvely, I hold the title of first Nigerian Ambassador and Growth Lead on the platform. My responsibilities included delivering educational and conversation driven content leveraging storytelling and motion design to boost engagement. Below is a summary of my work and achievements for both Zerion and Lyvely: For Zerion: → 70+ content pieces created on both X and Tiktok → 5,000,000+ impressions generated in 12 months across various platforms. → 1000+ users onboarded to Zerion and active users For Lyvely: → 50+ content pieces created across various platforms → 500,000+ impressions generated across multiple platforms → 700+ creatives onboarded organically → 200+ member community built from scratch → 300 active participants in live sessions I hosted Every piece of content was shot, edited, animated, and produced entirely by me. Beyond content, my design work has also helped secure over $50,000 in grants for Web3 projects including colosseum, supported a sold-out photobooth activation, and significantly increased brand awareness for the projects I've worked with. On the NFT side, I've developed collections totaling over 50,000 pieces deployed across Solana, Ethereum, TON, and other chains. These collections sold out quickly and generated ~$100,000 in revenue. What I bring to any project isn't just execution. It's strategy, sales positioning, storytelling and creative direction. I don't create content just to follow a content calendar. I create content that onboards real people, builds real communities, and boosts visibility. This is how I think modern social teams should be structured 👇 Effective social media for established brands is not "a person". It's not just that it's too much of a workload for one person (it is), it's that the skills needed for social media management and for creating content are different and both time consuming. Small and new brands have to work with what they got, but for any growing or established brands, social media needs two person attention. Then growing a larger team can focus on: Creator - focused on daily performing content creation Social media manager - Posting, moderation (before community management hire), analytics, strategy and shoot support, and company comms. Reddit is deleting 25,000 posts a day. Most of them aren't spam bots. They're brands. This July, Reddit said it's now catching around 25,000 spammy posts and comments a day, using its own AI. Here's the part that matters: a lot of it isn't random spam. It's stealth marketing, content designed to look organic, built specifically to get a brand mentioned inside ChatGPT or Gemini. Reddit has content deals with OpenAI and Google. Those AI tools pull real answers from real Reddit threads. So if you can fake a thread, you can quietly plant your brand inside millions of AI answers. Reddit's response: new accounts get reviewed on creation, bots have to verify they're not human, and the platform now hunts for what it calls "coordinated patterns of fake behavior" the old systems missed. That's the AI slop cannon in the wild. Mass output, zero judgment, trying to force scale instead of earning it. And it's getting caught. So, what should you do with these changes on Reddit? I would actually tell you to not focus as much on Reddit, even though they have deals with both Open AI and Google. See, to really do well on Reddit, you need to network with other users. You need to provide a lot of helpful insights to people, and you can't really self-promote. The easier solution to get included both into Gemini and ChatGPT is actually to focus on LinkedIn. If you post content on LinkedIn, it's getting pulled heavily into both of these platforms. You control it cuz it's your own profiles. You also have people who work with you. They also can post. But here's the key. LinkedIn can now detect if the content being posted on your profile page is created through AI. If you create the content through AI, it only gets shown to your followers. If you create the content using your own words and typing it out manually and not using AI, it can get shown to your followers plus more. So the goal here is for you to now create content and publish it more on LinkedIn and switch your strategy to a LinkedIn first strategy over Reddit because even though Reddit works, it is going to be much more harder for you to penetrate. If you want to focus on Reddit, it's all about being helpful. Think of karma. The more you help people, the better off you're going to do.

But in this industry when people see you failing too much, slowing down or struggling, it can be a death sentence. Fans call you out on Twitter and professionals call you "washed" behind closed doors. This is what the coaches, players, managers, content creators and many more live every day. They bottle it up and hide it from friends, family, managers, teammates because they're ashamed. It gets to a point where I need to specify that we can work together under NDAs so they can save face and be sure that nobody will find out they asked for help. We cannot continue working like this. Esports has been chewing up and spitting out these people for decades now. And I believe this shit needs to stop. Whether you've got the funds to seek help or not, I got you. For those who can, you can apply/book consultations to get the help you need, single consultations, weekly follow-ups. Whatever you need we'll find a way to make it work.
