Aging is NOT a side effect of being alive; it’s simply an evolutionary artifact that can be cured or reversed. Aubrey never really understood aging or biological systems, yet for almost two decades, he claimed that aging would be cured within 25 years. I had debated his flawed view of aging back then. Now, strangely, he seems to have changed his tune. Below is an article from 2011: “A biomedical gerontologist and chief scientist of a foundation dedicated to longevity research, de Grey reckons that within his own lifetime doctors could have all the tools they need to "cure" aging -- banishing diseases that come with it and extending life indefinitely.”

All this seems to mean is that the rejuvenating effects of any intervention will need to be reapplied every so often—to remain youthful

There's aging and there's aging poorly, and aging poorly doesn't have to happen. I actually really respect @Bryan_Johnson for being willing to experiment with innovative methods to combat aging, even if his approach is unconventional. He's contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field, which could be helpful to others.

Though if you cut that beard you'd like 20 years younger. Just saying. 😉
