Hehe. Whenever someone says that Matt and I have completely opposite beliefs about some question in the field, you can be absolutely sure that they are oversimplifying. On this question, Matt and I entirely agree; it's all a matter of how much of the damage of aging 1) can be repaired today, 2) is likely to be repairable in the foreseeable future, 3) needs to be repaired to reach LEV, and 4) needs to be repaired in order that we can say "biological aging has been COMPLETELY reversed". If that had been the question, it's absolutely certain that both my and Matt's answers would have been, respectively: a minority, a majority, a majority, and all of it. The only sliver of disagreement we would have is whether the "majority" in question 3 is larger than the one in question 2 - and even there it hinges on what we each mean by "foreseeable". As Matt makes clear, he was choosing to answer question 4, whereas I was answering question 3.

“You can’t reverse entropy”. A fundamental of thermodynamics is that in an isolated system entropy will increase. But a human body subject to health interventions is not an isolated system. The entropy in the system can be reduced by increasing entropy outside the system
What a silly take about entropy. Without entropy you don’t have the complex novelty that life creates. Physical immorality is absolutely possible because engineering exists.

Well, entropy is technically reversible, if you know where all the pieces were before you can put them back. We are not an inanimate objects.

No, Age reversal is not possible. Even when the ancients imbibed Ambrosia and Nectar, they remained the same biological age. Otherwise, Zeus would have appeared as a young man, and not how we depict him, an old man with white hair and beard. Aging is not a disease. It's a patina. The older you get, the more you realize that.
Idk the system avoids entropy pretty well over decades, that’s pretty close already to immortality given you’re already 99.9% there in terms of self maintenance.
