I am testing the amazing Enoch by Mike HealthRanger and team and it is absolutely amazing. A free local AI built on a far wider field of wisdom. My goal: get it to run offline on an iPhone! I am quantizing the model to an aggressive 2-bit level using Q2_K or Q4_K_M. We lose some resolution but we gain portability to any device. The full free version is still small but requires more hefty hardware. But look at this emergency nuclear Fallout response. The keeper-of-the-status-quo Wikipedia types would have you suffer with limited crude ways to react. This response is stellar and will save your life. I will be working on the quantized version and if it is worthy release it for free on the MIT license like the larger Enoch. I will also incorporate this model with all of my other free models as it is a goldmine of astonishing work. Thank you Mike amazing work sir.

This one is gonna be very different to my usual content, focused more around embarrassment and the voice of Glamrock Freddy telling you what to do. It's best if you just relax and follow along. I will be looking to open up for paid custom work in the very near future. This is an example of alternative work I can do and would love to do more of if there is interest. currently experimenting with WAN 2.6 I2V on GMI Cloud in this test, I’m comparing two audio workflows and honestly both perform really well. one scene uses audio generated directly from the prompt, while the other uses manually uploaded audio taken from the film 300. visually, both deliver strong motion and solid performance. however, the version with audio coming straight from the prompt feels slightly more refined, camera movement is smoother, transitions flow more naturally and the sync between voice, facial motion, and pacing feels more cohesive. lip sync, especially for Chinese dialogue also comes across a bit cleaner. you can choose single shot for a clean, focused moment or multi shot if you want more cinematic transitions, even when working from just one reference image. one important note: always turn on prompt extension. it makes a noticeable difference in how well the model understands motion, transitions and overall scene flow. both audio approaches are totally usable, but if you’re building dialogue driven or cinematic scenes, starting with audio from the prompt gives WAN 2.6 a bit more context to work with. I’ll be pushing this further with more dynamic camera movement and transitions next. more experiments coming soon ✨ Wan

BREAKING: If you’ve followed me for a couple years, you might remember me talking about a one-lane bridge with queued traffic. The unwritten rule here is that cars take turns going one at a time. I’ve called this one of my final boss tests. No version of FSD has gotten close. Not 11, any version of 12, or 13.2. I can’t believe it, but the time has finally come. I got a good test for the first time with 14.2, and it understood the pattern! I was hovering the brake fully ready to stop it from doing the rudeness, but I forgot we are SENTIENT now. I was shouting in my car like I just won the superbowl so I had to mute audio. But holy F. Tesla cars are ALIVE. Cant believe it.

🎧 Audio book is now live on the site for MAKE book I ended up using the 30-second Instant Voice Clone by and just talked into my laptop a bit Instead of the Professional Voice Clone with the 30-minute cut from me on the Lex Fridman podcast, because it had way too many problems, it stumbled over words, made random weird sounds, it just didn't work well The 30-second Instant Voice Clone does have much lower resemblance to my voice, it sounds more like an American voice, but at least it speaks properly 99% of the time I'll keep improving the resemblance by training with more data though over the next few weeks (I'm trying to unlock the 5-minute Instant Voice Clone beta on ElevenLabs) But at least this is good enough as a first version and easily listenable It's about 4.5 hours long! They're MP3s for each chapter of the book and tagged with category Audio Book so any good audio player like iTunes willt ry remember your last listening position (thx Marc Köhlbrugge for that tip) I will add a purchase option for current customers too, soon!

I’ve been exploring Gemini 2.0’s new native audio output capability, which is available for early testers. I’m a developer at Google Creative Lab, and wanted to share one of my favorite experiments so far called ✨ VoiceCursor (🔊 sound on for video) Unlike traditional TTS, native audio lets you prompt the model with expressive styles, ie “Say this like a disgruntled pirate…” So I made ✨VoiceCursor… it lets you rapidly try different prompts.
