Massachusetts is now 50th out of 50 in private sector job growth. Companies are leaving and people are leaving the state. Massachusetts was a growth state between 2010 and 2020. Under Maura Healey, our state hasn’t added a single private sector job and that has a lot to do with taxes being too high, fees being too high, and utility bills being too high. She stopped the pipelines. Then she didn't stop the pipelines. Now, in an interview with NBC Boston, Governor Healey says she did stop the two natural gas pipelines because "they were a lousy deal for ratepayers." However, according to this 2022 clip from a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission forum (AG Healey's office was represented by Rebecca Tepper at this forum), the pipeline deal that AG Healey stopped would have saved ratepayers $2,800,000,000 from 2018 to September of 2022. #Massachusetts #energy #mapoli

Maura Healey is playing a shell game with the migrants. She moved them out of the Healey Hotels and into the Home Base Program. The migrants are now receiving apartment rental vouchers, which are paid for with our tax dollars. Meanwhile, local aid is flat and many towns are facing overrides. When I’m governor, I will make sure our tax dollars are spent helping Massachusetts citizens. #magov #mapoli

What makes more sense? A 100-mile natural gas pipeline from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts that would immediately lower energy costs OR a massive wind farm 500 miles out in the Atlantic off the coast of Canada, plus a 700-mile transmission line through Maine and New Hampshire to deliver electricity that’s more expensive? Governor Healey is choosing the wind farm to appease climate activists. I’d choose the option that’s efficient, affordable, and actually helps Massachusetts families and businesses – the natural gas pipeline.

What makes more sense? A 100-mile natural gas pipeline from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts that would immediately lower energy costs OR a massive wind farm 500 miles out in the Atlantic off the coast of Canada, plus a 700-mile transmission line through Maine and New Hampshire to deliver electricity that’s more expensive? This would enable cities and towns to increase the auto excise tax from 2.5% to 7.5%. Massachusetts families are already paying too much in taxes. Today, I was in Boston and visited Mass Ave & Tremont St. This is the intersection where a Boston Police cruiser was torched on Sunday. The two guys who were charged with this crime appeared in court today. Prosecutors wanted bail set at $15,000 and $10,000. The judge set bail at $1,000 and $500. This is completely unacceptable. Events like this are becoming more common in Boston because there are no consequences. When I’m governor, we will support the police, hold criminals accountable, clean up the streets and get this state back on track. #magov #mapoli
