BREAKING: Trump Trade advisor, Peter Navarro, ridiculously claims that Auto tariffs will raise $100 billion and other tariffs will raise $600 billion a year. This is such a gaslighting attempt to mislead. No, they will NOT raise this much money. Not even close In 2024, the U.S. brought in about 8 million cars from other countries, worth around $200 billion. If we taxed those cars at 25%, and that does not cause imports to fall (which it would), that would only bring in $50 billion, not $100 billion. And even if we did raise the tariff that high, it might backfire. When things get more expensive, people usually buy less. So if imported cars get too pricey, people might stop buying them—and that means we’d collect less in taxes, not more. An his other ridiculous claim that tariffs on all imports would bring in $600 billion, again, that doesn’t hold up. In 2024, the U.S. imported about $3.1 trillion worth of stuff from other countries. To get $600 billion in tariff revenue, we’d need to tax everything we import at an average rate of 20%—and pretend that people would keep buying the same amount of imported goods, even at higher prices. That’s just not realistic. To give you some context, during Trump’s first term, he put tariffs on about $300 billion of Chinese goods. Those tariffs were as high as 25%, but over several years they only brought in about $70 billion total—not per year. That’s because when you raise prices, businesses and consumers often change their behavior. They might buy from somewhere else, or not buy at all. So the actual money the government collects is a lot lower than it looks on paper. So, bottom line: the numbers Navarro and others are throwing around sound impressive, but they don’t really match how the economy works in real life.

Chamath: Frontier AI Leaders “Created a Total F*cking Mess” Short-sighted fearmongering and immaturity from frontier AI leaders has created deep mistrust, threatening AI’s potential as an open engine of economic mobility. That mistrust gives hyperscalers the chance to position themselves as trusted gatekeepers, using KYC, audit trails, and compliance infrastructure to turn AI into an oligopoly. Chamath Palihapitiya on the All-In Pod: “I think the leaders of the frontier labs leave a lot to be desired. I think what we're seeing is a consistent pattern of evasiveness and immaturity, and I think that does a huge disservice to the entire movement of AI. The key to a vibrant life is rooted in economic mobility, and I think AI is the grand leveler. It is the thing that can enable everyone to have unique amounts of economic mobility because they are unencumbered to figure out what their upper bound is. And against that backdrop, we have to live in this constant doomerism, hype cycle, naivety, and I think it holds us back. How does it hold us back? Tactically, number one, it creates mistrust. I think that Silicon Valley was already decaying in the prestige that it held in American society. We built important things. Then we veered away from that, and we started building less important things. And now we're at a point where we've potentially started to rebuild important things again, but we have this veneer of negativity and mistrust that are created in large part because we just cannot get our sh*t together. And the leaders of the frontier labs are public enemy number one. Number two, I think what it creates, which I think is bad, but what it creates is an incredible opportunity for the hyperscalers. And the very simple opportunity is to convince governments all around the world, not just America, that they should be the gatekeeper. A: You can't trust these guys. B: These models are all over the place. C: Let us be the ones that provision them to the world. We will wrap it in KYC. I've been now talking about KYC for a while, right? Who are these customers? Do they have identification? Why are they allowed to run these models? What are they prompting? Let's keep them so that there's an audit trail. All of these things are going to become issues. The Frontier Lab folks made it an issue because of how they've handled all of this up until now. And what does that create? Now that creates an oligopoly for AI, the most powerful economically leveling instrument we've ever seen in the hands of maybe a handful of hyperscalers, who by the way, would make an incredibly compelling argument, and they would be right. And the only counterfactual to it would be, ‘Well, trust us, guys, it should actually be much more open and in a far more distributed environment.’ Can you imagine the cost and the complexity if you ask the neoscaler to build the same robust KYC or the same VPC infrastructure that Amazon and Microsoft and Google have spent decades investing trillions of dollars in? It's an impossibility, Jason. So you can take all of those datacenters off the map. You can take all of the neoscaler market off the map. All of this was preventable. So instead of a diverse, robust, open ecosystem giving a tool that is the fundamental unlock for humans, we are now going to debate gatekeeping and duopoly versus oligopoly. They have created a total f*cking mess, and it's a shame.”

TOPIC #4: WHY PI UNITED PRICE SHOULD BE $314,159? 👉 Before we discuss it, we need to understand what Pi is and why this project is called Pi Network, not other networks. 👉We all know that π≈3.14159. Of course, there is a long string of numbers behind it. How long is it? Infinitely long. π is an irrational number. On March 14, 2019, Google announced that pi has now reached 31.4 trillion decimal places. 👉Friends who have learned about digital energetics also know that 314159 these numbers happen to be relatively good numbers in digital energetics. 31 is the Heavenly Medicine Star, representing wealth, love, and wisdom; 141 is the Birth Qi Star, representing nobility, happiness, and easy-going; 19 is the Life Extension Star, representing responsibility, ability, and professionalism. The number 5 plays a strengthening role in digital energetics, and 159 is the strengthened ability. 👉And this number 314159 happens to be the first few digits of Pi. Is it a coincidence? What a coincidence. Pi, represented by the Greek letter π (pronounced pài), is a constant (approximately equal to 3.141592654) that represents the ratio of the circumference and diameter of a circle. It is an irrational number, that is, an infinite non-repeating decimal. In daily life, 3.14 is usually used to represent pi for approximate calculations. Using ten decimal places, 3.141592654 is sufficient for general calculations. In other words, this 314159 is a very, very important number. 👉π is also equal to the ratio of the area of a circle to the square of its radius. It is a key value for accurately calculating geometric shapes such as circle circumference, circle area, and spherical volume. A circle has 360 degrees, and interestingly, the 360th digit of pi, together with the two numbers before and after, is exactly 360! How amazing! So, can we say that the number π, 3.14159, is a perfect combination of numbers? 👉In 2011, the International Mathematical Association officially announced that March 14th of each year will be designated as International Mathematics Day. The source is the Pi of the ancient Chinese mathematician Zu Chongzhi. Zu Chongzhi had already calculated π=3.1415926 at that time, so March 14th every year is also Pi Day. 👉 So, what should this π in our human energy field be represented by numbers? That should be digital energy. The so-called digital energy means that there are always some numbers that will have a specific impact on us! 👉Every object has an energy field, including humans and the Pi Network. We can apply the energy formula E=πMN, where our energy field equals π multiplied by mental force and action force. The number π represents digital energy, M represents mental force, and N represents action force. The universe's most powerful energy is π 314159. By combining our pioneers' education, we can unite our consensus and action with the GCV records to make it the most influential cryptocurrency. 👉Using Pi Network's name, logo, Pi Day, P2Day, and open-source code, it is evident that they aim to harness Pi energy for success. 👉 If you're wondering why the price of Pi is not $314, $3141, $31415, $3141592, or $31415926, it's because the price of $314,159 is not only supported by the theory I discussed earlier but also by a 100 million USD barter. Furthermore, when we compare the price of Pi with Bitcoin's highest price of $67K, we believe that Pi should be valued higher than that. However, a price point exceeding 1 million USD would be too high. So, to sum it up, all Pi should be valued higher than $67K but not more than 1 million USD. 👉 Based on the current population of the world,,, which is around 8 billion, earth's wealth and the total amount of Pi in circulation which is around 65 billion, each individual owns an average of 8.125 Pi. The reason why we have a large amount of Pi is because we took advantage of it early on. The high price of Pi serves as an automatic lock-up for hundreds of years since Pi cannot be printed like FIAT currency. 👉Moreover, the wealth of the earth is expected to increase in the coming years, and the population will increase. Hence, it is important to have a long-term perspective and plan accordingly because it should not fluctuate much after OM. The starting price on the exchange market after OM should be at least $314,159 to discourage speculation. Let's focus on GCV and not be distracted by outside noise. Have a great day! 🌹🌹🌹 Doris Yin 🪷🪷🪷

REMDESIVIR—VENTILATORS —ISOLATION—AND THE 'HOSPITAL HOMICIDE' OF MORE THAN 500,000 AMERICANS SINCE 2020 Here's a reminder that hospitals have been turned into "killing fields" since the beginning of COVID, deploying deadly protocols that have murdered 500K+ Americans. 🧵 (1/16) While the death and destruction caused by the COVID bioweapon injections has, rightfully, earned an enormous amount of attention from the alternative media, it's important to note that just as many people—if not more—have been killed by what's been deemed by some as COVID "murder protocols" in the hospitals. Murder protocols that have, in the U.S., been put into place by federal "health" agencies, and reinforced with massive payouts. In this first clip, we learn from electrical engineer and citizen investigator John Beaudoin, Sr. (John Beaudoin, Sr., The Real CdC, The Last Boomer) that these "hospital homicides" (Beaudoin's term) now account for more than 500,000 dead Americans. Indeed, Beaudoin says that "the hospital homicides might be greater" than the number of people killed by the COVID injections in the U.S. Beaudoin, who has pored through approximately 5% of the death certificates in the U.S. from the years 2019 through 2023, highlights an excess of acute renal failure (or sudden kidney failure) deaths as particularly staggering. He says that there have been 153,000 excess acute renal failure deaths **alone** in the last three years, which can likely be chalked up to some combination of remdesivir, vancomycin, and baricitinib. Remdesivir, which many have come to associate with death and illness, is an antiviral drug shown to be deadly in clinical trials and linked to renal failure specifically*. Baricitinib is a "Janus kinase JAK inhibitor" and is considered an "immunomodulator." Medical News Today notes, "If your kidneys don’t work well, [baricitnib] could build up in your body." Vancomycin is an antibiotic used to treat infections and has also been linked to acute renal failure**. Beaudoin notes that while he's not sure which individual drug, or which combination of drugs, is most responsible for the excess renal failure deaths in the U.S. over the last three years, "all the data is sitting on government computers and the government is purposely not looking at it, because they killed more than 150,000 excess people more than normal in the last three years by acute renal failure alone." Furthermore, Beaudoin highlights ventilators as a murder mechanism. "[P]eople were put on ventilators, they got lung infections, they weren't treated for bacterial infections, and they died," he says. He notes that sometimes patients were given vancomycin, but that "kills the kidneys if you give too much." Putting a finer point on things, Beaudoin says, "with regard to all of the [COVID] hospital protocols, I call it murder, because at some level, somebody knew what they were doing." While he doesn't blame the doctors themselves, he does say that whoever developed the protocol knew that it would kill patients. *//** Supporting studies provided in last post of thread.

DOUGLAS MURRAY: ELON HAS THE GUTS TO SAY THE TRUTH ON THE SITUATION IN THE UK “Jonathan Freedland of the Guardian [who called for Elon Musk to be arrested], is a very obscure figure. He is not at all known outside a small amount of the left-wing in the UK, but he has the audacity to claim that the British authority should arrest an American citizen. I mean, I don't know if Jonathan Freedman knows his history, I assume he does. He's a relatively intelligent man. But he should know that America fought quite a significant war in order that American citizens would not, in fact, be under the writ of British law. And thank goodness Elon Musk isn't. And thank goodness he has the guts to continue, like a number of the rest of us, to say, what is the truth. The reason you see so much of the media running against Elon Musk at the moment, is they recognize that his platform, Twitter, is beating all of them, or most of them, in all the stakes. And that's very scary for some of these old media who can't keep up, and don't have very many readers, like the Guardian. It's perfectly possible, that people like me, billionaires like Elon Musk, will be able to get through this era and will survive it. And I certainly plan to, and I'm sure and know that Musk does as well. But what about, as you say, the person who does not have the platform that I have or the means that Elon Musk has? What about them? As it's happening all the time at the moment in the UK, police forces that have not solved one burglary in recent years are knocking on people's doors and arresting them for Facebook posts, for retweeting things.” Source: Interview with Douglas Murray on Sky News, August 15, 2024

Earliest writing we know of dates back to around 3000 BC and was probably invented by Sumerians, living in major cities with centralized economies in what is now southern Iraq. Earliest tablets with written inscriptions represent the work of administrators, perhaps of large temple institutions, recording the allocation of rations or movement and storage of goods. Temple officials needed to keep records of the grain, sheep and cattle entering or leaving their stores and farms and it became impossible to rely on memory. So, an alternative method was required and very earliest texts were pictures of items scribes needed to record (pictographs). During its 3000 year history, cuneiform was used to write around 15 different languages including Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Elamite, Hittite, Urartian and Old Persian. Writing, recording of a spoken language, emerged from earlier recording systems, 4th Millennium BC. First written language in Mesopotamia is called Sumerian. Most of early tablets come from Uruk, in southern Mesopotamia, and it may have been here that this form of writing was invented. These texts were drawn on damp clay tablets using a pointed tool. It seems scribes realized it was quicker and easier to produce representations of such things as animals, rather than naturalistic impressions of them. They began to draw marks in the clay to make up signs, which were standardized so they could be recognized by many people. From these beginnings, cuneiform signs were put together and developed to represent sounds, so they could be used to record spoken language. Once this was achieved, ideas and concepts could be expressed and communicated in writing. Cuneiform is one of oldest forms of writing known. It means “wedge-shaped,” because people wrote it using a reed stylus cut to make a wedge-shaped mark on a clay tablet. Letters enclosed in clay envelopes, as well as works of literature, such as Epic of Gilgamesh have been found. Historical accounts have also come to light, as have huge libraries such as that belonging to Assyrian king, Ashurbanipal. Department’s collection of cuneiform tablets is among the most important in the world. It contains approx. 130,000 texts and fragments and is perhaps largest collection outside of Iraq. Centerpiece of collection is the Library of Ashurbanipal, comprising many thousands of most important tablets ever found. Significance of these tablets was immediately realized by Library’s excavator, Austin Henry Layard, who wrote : "They furnish us with materials for the complete decipherment of the cuneiform character, for restoring the language and history of Assyria, and for inquiring into the customs, sciences, and . . . literature, of its people." Decipherment of cuneiform began in 18th Century as European scholars searched for proof of the places and events recorded in Bible. Travelers, antiquaries, and some of the earliest archaeologists visited the ancient Near East where they uncovered great cities such as Nineveh. They brought back a range of artifacts, including thousands of clay tablets covered in cuneiform. Scholars began the incredibly difficult job of trying to decipher these strange signs representing languages no-one had heard for thousands of years. Gradually, cuneiform signs representing these different languages were deciphered thanks to work of a number of dedicated people. Confirmation that they had succeeded came in 1857. Royal Asiatic Society sent copies of a newly found clay record of military and hunting achievements of King Tiglath-pileser I to four scholars: Henry Creswicke Rawlinson, Edward Hincks, Julius Oppert, and William H. Fox Talbot. They each worked independently and returned translations that broadly agreed with each other. This was accepted as proof that cuneiform had been successfully deciphered, but there are still elements that we don’t completely understand and study continues. © Trustees of the British Museum #archaeohistories

👽🔥 New Dylan - Biologics🔥👽 "There's things that I knew that these people were aware of, but even they would not say. One of those being biologics." ~DB "The agreement was that, if they died, that I run with it and just blow the whole thing up." ~DB Firsthand witnesses to the Legacy program, "would never come forward in a million years unless they were gonna die." ~DB "When I was still in government...I brought the people who worked on [the biological analysis of non-human bodies] to The Hill." ~Grusch ~ Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell: "Did you physically see photos? Did you physically see these documents?" Dylan Borland: "No, but because of how much was given to me in relay that the individuals that had relayed it, they were doing so because they were genuinely concerned for their life, because their careers were taken, their houses were broken into. I mean, computers taken, mailboxes gone through. And again, they knew what I was going through at this time. They had given me enough information, and the agreement was that, if they died, that I run with it and just blow the whole thing up." Corbell: "So he's got his firsthand experience of this tech, but then this is something George and I hear a lot. Which is, in the Legacy, when you're kind of put into the bad camp - you know, you're under scrutiny now - that there are these people that are threatening you, and you do feel afraid for your life. And we'll get to it, but there are some things that occurred to you as this gets kind of deeper and deeper with what's happening. "But just to be clear: So you're in a place where there's some sort of purgatory going on. Everybody has clearance, but they're in this sort of purgatory. You're in this sort of purgatory?" Borland: "A few of us, yep." Corbell: "And then, people directly involved in the Legacy program are afraid for their lives, so they're telling you so that at least somebody at their level can take that information if something bad happens to them?" Borland: "I think it was definitely that, but it was also, this is such an isolating, lonely experience, especially for young people to be exposed to the reality of this. If you already don't have the acknowledgement that it's a possibility, like if you're...I don't want to say closed minded. If you're an average Joe Blow going through life, and then all of a sudden this pops up on your radar, and you're seeing physical proof of it, you probably take a step back and go, 'whoa.' So you have that aspect, then these same people have that aspect of it, and they also have the aspect of their government destroying them." (In other words, people like us would be excited to see proof of what we all suspect. But someone new to the topic might freak out a bit.) George Knapp: "So they are going through the same thing you are." Borland "Exactly." Knapp: "Their clearances are in limbo, home break ins, threats..." Borland: "When I come into contact with these people, they had had to resign from their government position and take a contracting job for less money. They were, basically, blacklisted for six months. The only reason they ended up getting a job was because somebody on the Legacy program had hooked them up after six months. And they ended up where I was at, and they heard me talking all this stuff, and they're like, 'Oh, you ended up here too, buddy. So, uh, what the hell is going on here?' Knapp: "It's like the island of bad toys or something like that." Borland: "Yeah." Knapp: "You know, put them all in one basket." Borland: "After I saw what I saw, and I've experienced what I've experienced, I kind of...I think most of us have, taken the delve into all of this material (points toward a bookshelf full of what appear to be UFO books). And you're like, 'I know this is true, I know this is true, I know this is true. Who else is saying these true things? Who else is relaying information I know to be true, to try and make sense of your own life?' "Um, they were aware of what I was talking about. I don't know the capacity in which they were briefed in. There's things that I knew that these people were aware of, but even they would not say. Um, one of those being biologics." ~~~ (This is the best anecdote we have about government officials being briefed on bodies.) Joe Rogan: "When it comes to these...actual entities...do we have an understanding of how many of them we're talking about, and the variety of them?" Grusch: "There is a variety and we have a certain number of (laughs) different things... I talked to people who were familiar with the biological analysis of everything. So we have some idea, not a complete picture because it's like, you know, looking at it, it's like, well I don't even understand the physiology at all. It's like, what the heck? It's like, way different, right? So..." Rogan: "Is there a description of this physiology?" Grusch: "Yeah, no, I was in the room when uhhh... I gotta be careful, I don't wanna... I was in Washington, DC with a very number of senior people that work for members of Congress (Senate staffers seems like a safe bet ~Joe). Put it that way. When I was still in government. And I brought the people who worked on that stuff to The Hill. And this is why the members were so confident to put out the Schumer amendment and stuff. And, I was like, 'Please explain.' And they went into all those details and stuff. And I remember (laughs) some of the professional staff members were like, 'Whoa.' Like they were like, in G-Loc, right? Cause, I mean, and like, a total world bubble got burst right there for a lot of people." Source, with video... ~Back to Dylan~ Knapp: "You think there's a storehouse of that information that anybody would have put something away in case something bad happened to them? And do you know what happened to these people?" Borland: "You know the ones that I know still continue in the government. Um, I think they continue in classified-operations programs." Knapp: "They're not coming forward." Borland: "They would never come forward in a million years unless they were gonna die. And that's...it really sucks for me coming forward, because I only came forward because I sincerely believed they were going to die. Sucks."

The Vanished & Betrayed People: The Reality Facing The Ethnic Irish (for 2 parts-see comments) Ireland. The emerald isle that has cradled a unique ethnic group (with a distinct genome) for thousands of years, with its own language, music, stories, dances, and resilient spirit forged through centuries of hardship and oppression. It now stands at a precarious precipice, destroyed in a few years by the malfeasance of globalist puppet politicians (government and opposition), quangos, and the compliant media that suppress truth and peddle propaganda. The Irish people's blood and bones are woven into this land like the ancient forests that once covered her (it was said you could walk from one end to the other without ever touching ground) yet they risk becoming a minority in their ancestral homeland within decades (likely by 2050 or 2055 if not before - it is a matter of mathematics, not conspiracy theory). There is a purposeful, relentless demographic shift in real time: The Great Replacement. Driven by low native births, mass immigration, and a painful new wave of emigration. The white Irish native population fell from 87.4% in 2006 to just 76.6% in 2022. A staggering drop of over 10 points in 16 years (what will the next census show?). But as stark as the official figures are, they feel misleading. When we look around with our own God given eyes we see a more alarming story. The truth is many newcomers don’t speak English and some likely skip the census (and so aren't accounted for) and it benefits the establishment to keep the true number of non nationals under wraps. Places like Ongar, Adamstown, Balbriggan and other towns across the country seem almost exclusively foreign. Irish children often find themselves a minority in their own classroom, surrounded by foreign voices. In the north inner city in Dublin 1 just 36% of people are white Irish (and in Dorset Street it is just 7%). While non nationals are SAID to make up 20-23% of the population, a whopping 40% of 18-29 year olds having at least one non-national parent. Moreover, in early 2025, only 70% of babies had Irish-nationality mothers. But this categorisation of mothers doesn't tell the real story as ethnicity is not recorded.Given citizenship is handed out like confetti (over 20k in 2024 alone) birth mothers who ethnic Irish are being counted as Irish, even if from Africa or some other continent (or European nation). Births to non-European mothers have more than doubled in the past few years. Ireland’s TOTAL OVERALL fertility rate is low at 1.5 (far below the 2.1 needed for replacement) and is even lower for Irish women (replacement is being driven more by inward migration currently). Additionally, In 2024 alone there were 10,852 abortions (almost 20% of known pregnancies). The Social Democrats tried to scrap the '3-day wait' just a few weeks ago. This was defeated. Sinn Féin brought it back and it passed easily. Irish people who were in favour of voting for abortion did so in large part because they were promised the 3 wait period would stay in place. A wait is sensible. It helps women to avoid potential trauma, grief and regret and it does not impact overall abortion accessibility. Over 10,000 babies have been saved by this 3 day wait (over 10,000 women never returned for their second appointment). One cannot help but feel parties colluded to bring about this end to the 3 day wait. It is as though they voted against removing the wait, knowing that they would have a chance to vote again soon. Giving the appearance to voters that they wrestled with their conscience and changed their minds only with thoughtful consideration. However they all appear celebratory and jubilant following the vote. These same politicians do nothing to help Irish women keep their babies, yet fast-track non-natives onto housing lists and support other measures that prioritise natives over non natives. My fellow Kenyans, In the spirit of accountability and civic education, I bring you my analysis of the Nyaribari Chache CDF. My analysis covered 2018-2022. Current MP is Hon. Zaheer Jhanda If you do not know him, please watch the first video attached, and the other pictures. These pictures are from his social media accounts. Please note that, the focus of the review is the CDF itself and not necessarily the politician. That is to say that I don't care when someone was elected. I am looking at the performance of the CDF vs intended purpose. When I do bring up the politician, I am discussing his or her fit for the job. Before we even get to the findings, I do want to ask you for your indulgence a little bit, to discuss something that I believe is related to the findings you will see below. And that is, "intellectual capacity". Or, "competence". Please follow me here. Let us assume that you are a wealthy individual. But you were not born wealthy. You started from below scratch, and now, you own several companies with annual revenues in the billions. One has annual revenues of KSH 17 billion, and let us call it KIAMBU CORPORATION. The other has annual revenues of KSH 40 billion. We will call this one NAIROBI CORPORATION. Finally - you have a start-up - and things are really tight there. You need to make sure the start-up succeeds. You need someone to help steer the start-up through some hard times, ensuring that the company is focused on its core competency, to develop it into a success story. The start-up is young, but has KSH 200 million in revenues annually. And you cannot afford to waste money. We will call the start-up Nyaribari Chache Corporation. You need to hire Chief Executive Officers ("CEOs") for these three companies. Among the people that have expressed interest in these positions, are: @MikeSonko for CEO of Nairobi Corporation. Sakaja Arthur Johnson for Nairobi Corporation. Ferdinand Waititu, aka H.E. Waititu BabaYao for Kiambu Corporation. And Hon. Zaheer Jhanda for Nyaribari Chache. You scan their resumes and other publicly available information, and here is what you find: @MikeSonko is a self-proclaimed "reformed fraudster" and conman. He once served a prison sentence, which he did not have the discipline to complete, in the coast for fraud. Has no known legitimate educational or professional background. Nothing that says he has even the average skills required to run - which is different from just holding the title of CEO - a company with KSH 40 billion in revenue. He is very flashy, and you can tell he adores cash by just visiting his Instagram account. But you have no idea where his cash comes from, although there are rumours that he may be involved in illicit business dealings. Sakaja Arthur Johnson - appears is born politician. He has never been accused of running anything - including a kiosk. Has never really worked anywhere where he could have learned any skills. But he has sent a diploma with his name from a "TEAM UNIVERSITY" - which, given that nobody has ever heard it, you googled to find out that it is a school in Uganda. That said, you have never seen anyone graduate from that school, and have absolutely no idea about the rigor of its academic programs. In any case - he has ZERO experience outside of politics. In other words - the only thing you are certain about with regards to him, is that he possesses dimples. H.E. Waititu BabaYao is equally enigmatic. You have listened to his interviews on TV, trying to gauge his acumen and competency. He does have a degree certificate from a school in India - but not much is known about his competency, abilities, or experience to run a company with KSH 17 billion in revenue. For Nyaribari Chache, Hon. Zaheer Jhanda wants the job, bad. His resume reads as follows: Educational background: Kenya Methodist University: Currently Seeking a Bachelor or Arts degree, having started in 2020. Outside of this, he has a KCSE certificate from Cardinal Otunga High School (1997). Work experience: BIG. FAT. NOTHING. Now, you have to decide if you are going to hire these people, to run a company with KSH 40 billion in revenues, 17 billion in revenues, and the start-up with annual revenues of KSH 200 million. And to be sure - there are hundreds of applicants for these jobs, with impressive credentials and verified work experience. Are you hiring H.E. Waititu BabaYao @MikeSonko Sakaja Arthur Johnson or Hon. Zaheer Jhanda for these jobs? The scenario I just gave you above is not a figment of my imagination. It is not a functional story am working on. These four people, sought and received positions to lead Nairobi City County Kiambu County Kenya. and Nyaribari Chache MP - on those records. Nairobi City County has a budget north of KSH 40 billion. Kiambu County Kenya. has a budget of KSH 17 billion. Hon. Zaheer Jhanda ran for office without any credentials or work experience, and the good people of Nyaribari Chache elected him. His basic salary is close to 1 million a month. The point is this. When we hire these people for these jobs, we are trusting them with the ability to use their "competency" to make very important decisions for us - about how to allocate very scarce resources. And, there are millions of people, whose dreams and aspirations rise and fall based on the decisions these people make, with those resources. For example, with a KSH 17 billion budget, Kiambu County is not supposed to spend more than 35% of this budget on salaries. If you look at most counties, and look at the number of people employed by the county, it is normally less than 1% of the entire county population. When people leading our government lack the requisite competency, and make dumb decisions, we pay the price. When Kiambu County Kenya. spends 61% of the budget in violation of the law (as opposed to a maximum of 35%), as it does often, this means that the county politicians have effectively diverted over KSH 4.5 billion in that one year, from serving you, to a few people. That KSH 4.5 billion is the difference between having a well-equipped and functioning hospital, and not. A good road, or not. In other words, the competency of people we put into these offices matter, people. It does. The question then is, why are our standards different in politics? If you could not hire these people for CEO positions to play with your own money, why would you elect them to lead jurisdictions with similar level of resources and complexity? That having been said, I digress. Back to Nyaribari Chache. Reindeer Herder in Northern Mongolia 🇲🇳 Mongolia’s Tsaatan Reindeer Herders; a diminishing nomadic tribe who live in depths of Taiga in northern Mongolia are one of last groups of nomadic reindeer herders in the world. There about 400 Dukha people of 70-80 families live in communities, usually a group of two to seven households. Mongolian reindeer people life is completely dependent on Reindeer they herd, often moving their small encampment tepees 5-10 times a year in search of suitable weather and moss for reindeer. This vast region is home to several thousand square kilometres of natural habitat classified as taiga (boreal forest) located within the Shishged River watershed of Altai-Sayan mountains (largest mountain range in southern Siberia) and provides home range for world’s southern-most indigenous reindeer population and their herders – Tsaatan. Mongolia’s Tsaatan reindeer herders are Mongolia’s smallest ethnic minority – a community of nomadic reindeer herders with strong shamanist beliefs. Originally from Tuva in Siberia, they have historically inhabited the border region of Russia and Mongolia. Ethnically, community identifies as Dukha, but their lifestyle as reindeer herders earned them Mongolian name Tsaatan, which means roughly ‘with reindeer.’ At end of 20th Century Mongolian reindeer number decreased drastically from 2280 to 616. Thanks to number of organizations, individuals, foundations, as well as Mongolian government contributed the Dukha tribe to keep their traditional way of life and increase reindeer head. Mongolian reindeer herder Tsaatans proudly celebrated 2000 Reindeer Festival in August 2019. Indeed, Mongolia reindeer number reached 2690 by 2020. Tsaatans use the reindeer as the main way of transportation such as travel for hunting, collection of firewood, as a pack animal for seasonal migrations, visiting relatives and friends, and traveling to town for shopping and trade. Reindeer milk is part of Tsaatans' staple food from which they make cheese, milk tea, butter, and yogurt. A reindeer gives 96-100 liters of thick and rich milk during milking season. Tsaatans occasionally eat reindeer meat, but overall they prefer to increase reindeer number instead of slaughtering. Tsaatans or Dukha people begin training reindeer for riding when reindeer are two years old ridden by children because adults are too heavy to ride two-year-old. However, ridden by adults at age of three when reindeer are strong enough. During nomadic movement, male reindeer usually carry loads weighing about 40kg while females carry up to 30kg. When weather is cooler, reindeer are vigorous and healthy. Dukhas usually settle down at an altitude of 2300m above the sea level, but 1800m in winter where they can be sheltered and avoid frigid winds. Snow is not an obstacle for reindeer to find and eat moss because they can dig in the snow with their hooves and find moss easily. Young males are castrated after mid-September when weather cools down. The end of September to early October is a mating season for reindeer. The gestation period for a reindeer is about seven months. Monthly, Mongolian government has been granting some amount of money both for adults and children in the community. Another source of income is tourism but it covers a few of the households depending on their encampment locations. Though, eco-friendly travel is vital. They randomly sell reindeer or its skin. Instead, hunt in mountains in autumn for winter food. Tsaatans have closest relation with nature and know how to use the herbs and plants for medicinal purposes or food. Surplus medicinal plants, berries, and pinecone nuts are sold in nearby towns or bartered in exchange for food and clothes. They, also catch fish spearing them with long poles. 🎥 : Dukha man singing a native song, while riding a reindeer 🎥© bagaa_adventurer (IG) #archaeohistories
