Austin, TX - Angry passenger gets stranded inside Waymo that is unable to pass through an intersection. Despite being stranded for over 20 minutes, Waymo refused to refund the passenger and claimed this was due to traffic. Now waiting for Comments from Dan O'Dowd regarding the safety critical software failure.

@RealDanODowd Looks actually very impressive. This is a traffic and I would expect the same outcome. Sorry, this is nothing .

@RealDanODowd This is what happens when robots can’t “break any traffic laws.” Sometimes you have to get in there. Tesla would have gone in there an some regulator would be mad about it.

@RealDanODowd Can someone do a compilation of these rogue Waymos so that we can bookmark the post and reply to every single Dan’s rant about FSD?

To be honest, this one makes sense. By crossing the traffic light and pushing to that second would put the waymo over a crosswalk which I’m pretty sure is illegal. That human driver who took that spot on the right side basically did an illegal move. At least that’s what I see. Just giving benefit of the doubt in terms of traffic rules.

@RealDanODowd He should just reach out out to the regulator in TX and they’ll make them issue a refund. Or just dispute with credit card company. Google is a software company, they’re never going to figure this out.

@RealDanODowd It’s trying to hard to comply with rigid traffic laws.

@RealDanODowd The lead white car was already waiting right above the crosswalk, people blame waymo for not getting behind to be exactly blocking the crosswalk? What happened to do not block intersection? 2 stupid hooman did so though. 🤣
