We are one of the biggest gas producers and export more uncontracted gas than our projected shortfall. I’m telling you this because - we want to keep gas and power prices through the roof. While I sell you ‘we have heaps of gas’ - we are effectively thinking about shutting down the biggest gas project in living memory! LMAO!! You can’t make it up. Why is the govt turning a blind eye to trading partners on-selling our gas at a profit while 🇦🇺 households + businesses pay record prices for our own gas?! The Shell Australia Country Chair just told the Senate committee that 6 or 7 gas companies have contributed $1 million each to fund a huge campaign against a gas export tax 🤯 and smaller companies have also contributed. Gas companies are spending millions to ensure Australians aren't paid a fair share for the export of our gas. Go to to help fight back against their propaganda.
