Autonomous fleets can drive themselves, but they can’t operate themselves. RoboDock builds robots that automate operations in AV depots, starting with charging and vehicle inspections. Congrats on the launch, celine and Zinny!

Stoked to be building this!

So.. Autonomous fleet companies are building autonomous cars which can drive at complicated trafics. This means that engineers developing autonomous vehicles could easily design autonomous robotic arms that could charge and inspect vehicles in a designated parking area. It's foolish to start a company to sell simple engineering products to a company that provides advanced engineering services.

@nicenewgal More of a fun school project than a real business. Cleaning & maintenance at scale is exponentially harder than a robotic arm that plugs the vehicle. Plus wireless charging using UWB is a first principles way to solve this.

@nicenewgal Congrats team!!!

@nicenewgal So cool

@nicenewgal the details really do matter in robotics

@nicenewgal specialized perception > general purpose humanoids (for now)

@nicenewgal the future of autonomy!!🚀

@nicenewgal ¡Impresiona ver cómo RoboDock moderniza la movilidad urbana! Cada avance en automatización nos acerca a ciudades más inteligentes. Felicidades por este lanzamiento tan relevante para el transporte del futuro.

@nicenewgal Congrats Celine!!

@nicenewgal very cool, will give this a shout out in tomorrow’s Driverless digest newsletter.

@nicenewgal What these people are doing is insane

@brycent @nicenewgal Happy Thursday guys

@nicenewgal I want to be a customer

@nicenewgal Did you know the car has thermistors in the chargeport the battery, about every ecu, 99% of this is better onboard software, things like putting tpms with imus for detecting bad alignment/ possible failure. This is a very expensive way to automate charging. use inductive or pogo

@nicenewgal congrats on the launch! this is such a crucial problem waiting to be solved.

@nicenewgal stoked to see autonomous fleets relying so heavily yet needing these robotic helpers for charging & inspection. interesting synergy there! How's RoboDock integrating AI with real-time data analytics in this setup? Curious! 🧠💡🔍

@nicenewgal “Key AV operators” You can say Cruise

@nicenewgal Robots getting their own robots to do their chores is the most relatable thing a machine has ever done
